Amazing driver! Punctual, helpful, friendly, accessible, even confirmed the job a day before! Please use Maria Karolina Zacarias if you want peace of mind! Moving is stressful - so having a professional driver really does help! He even has brackets and blankets to protect your goods! He is amazing :)

Very friendly and helpful! Delayed by traffic, which was no issue for me at all and he let me know in advance that he was running a little late. He was careful with all my belongings. Very happy!

Had such a lovely experience with Abi. He was accommodating to my changing of time. He came prepared with blankets and straps and packed my belongings very neatly and securely. Made moving very manageable and not stressful.

Abi is the top man for the job! A very professional service - he was incredibly efficient, careful and clever when it came to helping with my move. He has a real knack and managed to jigsaw piece all my items together securely into place with the transferring of items from different locations. He took care with my items, ensuring the delicate pieces were wrapped and safe. Everything was very smooth, quick and hassle free. He was courteous, very helpful, and we had a lovely chat on the journey! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abi to my friends and will most certainly be using his services again, you won't want anyone else for the job! Thank you Abi!

Abi was excellent! He did literally everything himself! He brought all my belongings down and played tetris to make it fit like a perfect jigsaw puzzle and to my surprise managed to fit everything in. I would definitely book him again. Very friendly and hard working :)

Abi was absolutely fantastic - super friendly and professional, really helpful with our bags (which were more than we anticipated), very careful of anything delicate and great company. Really enjoyed the trip in the van and was sad to get to our house as we'd been having such a great conversation. Make sure you use him if you need a van!

The driver was amazing, but CompareTheManAndVan are a complete by joke of a company. Customer service is none existent, luckily our driver help us change the date and time. DO NOT USE. THIS COMPANY. Book directly with a driver.

The service provided by Abi was brilliant and exceeded well beyond what a man with a van normally does.
He saved my day by taking me down to the agent's office a few miles away to pick up spare keys having locked myself out of the property. When we returned, he stayed on to help us out with moving stuff upstairs.

He is so skilled in packing items into the van, making the most of the space but also taking care of your stuff. We are also grateful that he helped us carry our things into our new place. Abi and his mate were very friendly, professional and polite - the move was a difficult situation at the receiving end but they managed to get the furniture in carefully and with a cheerful attitude. Would recommend them both and would use again. Great team!

Cons: Was 1 hour 40 mins late, stopped half-way through our journey to my destination to quickly use the bathroom to pee at his home but didn't come back for an hour and left his phone in his car. Apparently he had food poisoning. Whether that was true or not I can't say, but to leave a client waiting in a car for an hour without any way of reaching out by phone is unacceptable. After half an hour I got cold and scared for my safety in an open van in the dark somewhere in Thornton Heath. If that hadn't happened I'd given a four star rating but that was one of the worst customer experiences I've had in my life.

The driver came an hour and a half late (supposed to arrive at 11.30am and arrived at 1pm) When I called him, not only did he not apologise, but was irritated that I asked him where he was and even said that I was only slowing him down for calling and disturbing him (at this point he was already one hour late).
The normal duration of the trip (and what was also expected on your website on the quotation) is around 30 minutes. Because the driver passed an alternate route, the whole trip took about 50 minutes.
With all of this, the moving was delayed a total of two hours.

We booked a collection to move house at 1pm. The first van was a no show so we were sent a replacement that we were told would 30 minutes later. The replacement driver eventually turned up at 5.30pm with his girlfriend who was unable to carry and lift any of the items into the van ( I’d booked for two guys to help lift the furniture ). I couldn’t contact the second driver via his mobile as the message was just a rap about ganja....the van was also too small and couldn’t fit all the furniture in that we had listed in the booking. Altogether a really bad experience!

I am providing my comments on the review by a customer Emma Wood.
I was delayed in arrival due to completing another job in London, as can be seen from the system, but the customer was kept regularly updated.
The volume of goods would have warranted the booking of a large van.
The helper was not my girlfriend but my assistant and she did help in the removal of many items. The table involved was not standard but exceptionally heavy such that the fit & healthy husband found very difficult to lift one end.
It is not possible to book two or any number of guys as this is both sexist & illegal. Sex discrimination in the workplace is no longer permitted.
There was no rap about ganja. As a black person I can only view this as a racist slur and attack. There should be no place for racism in our society and therefore I wonder what action you want to take against such behaviour.

Had a very enjoyable trip with him, from collection point to delivery. Traffic was indeed very heavy on the day so I appreciate late arrival was unavoidable.
