Comparing man and van quotes in Greenwich before you book means you can see prices, reviews and driver options side by side rather than taking a chance on the first result you find. Compare The Man And Van gives you that in one place, whether you are moving a flat, a family home, or need a driver for a furniture collection.
Greenwich takes in quite different property types, from flats near the town centre and larger homes around Eltham to mixed residential streets in Woolwich. Comparing loading help options upfront means you can choose the right level of support for your property, whether that is a managed block with a loading bay or a terraced street where the van parks close to the door.
Greenwich takes in riverside flats, suburban family homes and mixed residential streets - and loading conditions differ more than people expect between them. Comparing driver options before you book helps you match the right van size and support level to the job.
It is a quick way to compare prices and reviews before choosing the best option for your move.

Communication on the day great. It had taken us an hour and a half to finish off our packing between three of us -and we'd still be there now I think, faffing about, but when Aimen (our man with a van) came he took over and organised us into an efficient team; one person carrying to lift, one in lift, one in lobby etc...we suddenly got into a rhythm which saw all our furniture and infinite amount of laundry bags into his van in 20 minutes. He also - I am pleased to say - remained calm with the security guard trying to get him to park half a mile away. A smile and a promise to be quick (he was - and how) and the security guy was ok with it all, even urging us to 'take our time - don't rush'. Made light work of the traffic and the long drive between flats...helped to get bags and furniture off van but couldn't help us further as the agent wouldn't let us in as he was completing a 90 min itinerary at the new flat. Not Amen's fault that he couldn't finish the job and help to get the stuff inside. Overall, calm, polite and super efficient.
U Movers UK were brilliant, friendly, professional and completed the move within time.
Driver was very prompt friendly and helpful great knowledge of the route displayed customer service at all times would definitely use again *******
Dean and his friend had been delayed by a previous job, but turned up cheerful and friendly, and completed my move twice as fast to make up for it, it felt! It turned a stressful day into something almost enjoyable! Will definitely book again!
Very friendly and extremely helpful. Helped move everything from the house to the van and packed with direction. Then also helped unload and took all items directly to the door of the storage unit and helped to pack that well too. Would highly recommend!
Good company and even helped us move when traffic delayed him
Driver arrived early and packed the van very efficiently. I thought we might have needed two hours but we were done in less than one hour! Will definitely book again next time I move :)
Edward arrived a little late, but it went very smoothly from there. What was most impressive was that he is an extraordinary person who is doing the service for charity. Was great meeting him!
Frank was great. Friendly, professional, punctual (arrived 5 min early), brought a bigger van than I booked as I didn’t know what size I needed, helped us move everything including a heavy sofa down 4 flights of stairs, let us (2 passengers) ride in the van with him. I would definitely use Frank again in future.
Drivers on our platform know Greenwich’s mix of busier local roads, residential streets, and smaller flat-heavy properties. That local experience helps when stopping space, building access, or route choice needs a bit more planning.
Greenwich suits a lot of smaller household jobs, but access can vary more than people expect. Parking, building type and local road layout often shape how straightforward loading is once you arrive.
The borough’s mix of conversions, purpose-built flats and smaller homes means many bookings are well suited to small or medium van moves rather than larger removals.
On some streets, limited parking and controlled bays can make loading less straightforward, so choosing a driver used to local access can help keep the job better organised.
Drivers familiar with Greenwich are better placed to judge where stopping is less practical, where access may be tighter and how local road layout can affect the easiest approach.
