They really did an efficient job and put in effort to find out where each box or item of furniture should go rather than just stacking them all in one room upon delivery.

I have nothing but praise for Eugen and his team. Very efficient operation and they worked in a wonderfully thoughtful way. They not only delivered my masses of belongings but also thought about where to place them in a given room, to make unpacking easier. I would recommend Eugen any time, a very accommodating team.

Arrived early and was super efficient at getting all of our stuff loaded into the van. Due to another van being parked outside our building, we had to park the van a little way away but this didn’t cause any problems and we still managed to do the whole move in the booked time! We moved our stuff into storage and Eugenijus was really good at arranging everything to get it all the fit. We were so grateful for a stress free move and definitely felt like we were in safe hands. Driver was only slightly late, but did phone to tell me he was nearly there. No straps and blankets were needed for our load. He made an extra claim of £6 for a bridge charge that was never discussed or included in the confirmation email.

Only thing to be aware of is when they ask about flights of stairs, they mean flights not floors (probably my bad!) so it was a tiny bit extra .... but would 100% recommend the team they were excellent.

We booked for entirely too long a timeframe. We requested 8 hours unsure how long it would take. It’s taken them 4 including their being 30+mins late. Is there any recourse for this difference in time and payment made? Driver did get frustrated when husband told him a few times we were finished that driver could close the truck and yet i kept finding things hubby forgot to have out on the truck. Apologies for hubby’s errors, but we paid for him 8 hours to come and go as many times as needed. We thought it would be 3-4 trips when it was only 2 trips. Anyway, it didn’t feel nice to be told hey this is the 3rd time now are you sure this is going to be the last time? And I had to say sorry my husband got it wrong. I understand his frustration. I was frustrated too. Crew was fast and efficient. Much appreciated

He and his colleague (sorry, didn’t get his name) were 5 mins early, between them they packed and unpacked the van very very quickly and took very good care of our belongings. Even thinking of inventive ways of getting our king size bed into our new property when it wouldn’t fit up the stairs. We couldn’t have done the move without them!

Van was running late as their previous booking had underestimated their requirements, but I was told about this ahead of their scheduled arrival time. They provided an estimaed 30-minute window during which time they were likely to arrive, and they did arrive in that window. Both the driver and assistant were polite and careful with my belongings, and worked very fast, to the extent that the move was still completed by the original scheduled end time.

Two of the most helpful, friendly, kind and polite people I have ever met, they made our move a breeze and went above and beyond expectations in incredible time.

Eugene and Marcos arrived on time and were efficient and careful with my items for the big move. I had a huge amount of things to move and they worked very hard to get it all done. A couple of office drawer wheels did get broken during transit into the new property, but in fairness I had stuffed all three drawers full of items. Eugene knocked off the price of the replacement wheels from my final payment. The Compare The Man And Van website predicted the move would take 2h51m, so I booked for 3h30m just in case. The move actually took a few hours more due to the amount of stuff I had, so that may be worth bearing in mind for future bookers if you have a lot of stuff to transit. Eugene and Marcos certainly didn't stop working so this was not so much a fault of theirs. They helped make the move go as smoothly as possible.

My original booking cancelled the night before he was booked. Had a replacement assigned instantly and it all went perfectly.

EJ Van Took the job at 22:35pm the night before after the booked Van & Man cancelled. EJ very efficiently moved three antiques with considerable care. I would highly recommend this firm. Next time my first choice.

I would like to thank this man and helper today. Nothing was to much to ask for , they went beyond what they where were asked to help with . From arrival they were 5 mins approx early and delivered all my goods back to my new address and unloaded it all . They told me to relax whilst they done the unloading . Thank you so much . Great guys to work with. Honest, hardworking and keen to get the job done right. I booked for 4 hours and ended up with delays waiting for keys having them for near 8. No complaints, no extra fees beyond the standard hourly rate for the extra time. Even after the extended time no corners cut, if items neeed to go upstairs then thats where they took them. I would use these guys anytime I needed similar services.

Everything was moved quickly and efficiently. Driver was a little late due to traffic, though the additional porter was there on time to begin the moving process. There was some issue with the flights of stairs: I was moving my stuff to a 2nd floor room in a house, and I therefore put 2 flights of stairs...however I was apparently wrong to do so as they measure 'flights' of stairs by twists and turns, not by the floor. I therefore had to pay a little more than the quote. Please be careful of this when filling out your criteria.

I finally have internet and can rave about these guys! They were absolutely wonderful and professional, and if you're looking for someone to handle your move, look no further. I was extremely stressed on the day of my move because I learned last minute that the lift was broken with no promise of repair, and I was moving into the 5th floor with some very heavy items. From the second I called them to warn them, to when they left, Eugen continued to calm and reassure me, and I knew I was in good hands. They took everything in stride, and remained very professional throughout. They carried all my things, on a very hot day, up 10 narrow flights of stairs, constantly reassuring me it was ok, despite me being to see how darn hard they were working. They were very careful with all my items, securing them properly and taking extra care not to damage even the walls as they carried things through and put everything down. I cannot recommend Eugen highly enough - was great helping to get the items out of the house and into the van, was a really careful driver and very polite and considerate at all times and helped with all of the unloading and moving of items into our storage unit at the other end. I've had bad experiences with getting a man with a van before but this was smooth sailing - from arrival to goodbyes was only a hour (with a 35min drive to the storage unit) - I barely broke a sweet! Will 100% use him again.

The guys did a great job. Showed up early. Straight away to work. Knew how to dissemble certain pieces of furniture. Took care to not scratch walls and pack furniture intelligently. We underestimated the move requirements and the challenges about getting a few pieces into our new place and ran over our estimated time. Without asking, they just focused on getting the job done and done well. True professionals.

Was initially concerned with using them but I shouldn't have worried. He was on time, the guys worked quickly and efficiently. He even helped dismantle our dining table and he was really concerned when he thought a shoe rack had been damaged in the move. Would happily use again.

Eugen was incredible. We’d had a couple of drivers cancel the night before our move and Eugen took the work on and he was brilliant. Called me to confirm and asked if we wanted him to arrive earlier - whatever was best for us. He arrived exactly on time and proceeded to help us pack the van with great care - not a single item was broken in the move. Eugen was very friendly and helpful and a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend and a friend is already wanting to use him for their house move.

The driver was fantastic and worked quickly and safely.

Eugen was an unbelievable removal man. He arrived on time and was super respectful with our belongings. I was naturally nervous as we have many mirrored antique furniture but the guys were extremely careful and even managed to navigate the narrow pathway in our Edwardian house. Further the driver and helper worked tirelessly to complete in the most efficient and effective manner without delay.

I can only praise the service we received from EJ Removal from Jurga on the phone to Eugen and his assistant the service was first class. On the day I received a message to say they were on their way, then there was an accident on the Motorway and lovely Jurga called to explain and was helpful from booking until they arrived. Eugen is a super guy really thoughtful and respectful. I cannot recommend them enough.

We were beyond impressed with our two movers from EJ Van & Man - hardworking, clearly experienced and great at solving any problems that came up with the narrow stairs in the Victorian house we moved into. And they completed the job in half the time we'd estimated using the comparethemanandvan's calculator! I would highly recommend these guys, took 2hrs to do what I thought would take 3 and that was with 4 flights of stairs. The only small problem I have is that they were finished in 2hrs and I paid for 3 but they still charged me £20 extra as I miscalculated the amount of stairs but that’s fine they still did a great job!

Can't recommend EJ Van removals highly enough. They arrived on time and work tirelessly, efficiently and without fuss. Even helped to assemble a large 60's freestanding arc lamp. Moving is a huge upheaval but with this company you are in the best hands.

Not a very happy person. Completed the job in far less than the four hours booked but was very unhappy about some disassembly required. Having booked 4 hours I would expect 4 hours of work, whether it was moving belongs or taking a few screws out of furniture.

We are very satisfied, the driver came even earlier (he called before) and that suited me. They did everything quicker than expected with no issues at all. Not very talkative but I guess that's not what was here for so no problem from my side. Therefore I could use again.
