He was hopeless as a mover man but he was such a nice guy. He was willing to help and that's all it counts.
I booked man and van. It clearly said driver has to help with loading and unloading but driver claimed he won’t help. He said you book driver and car and my job is to drive only. I was very upset. I showed him email and he said okay. But he only gave me hand with just my bed and looks so upset and disrespectful. I had to do all loading myself and feel my payment is scammed
Our driver was super helpful and hard-working on helping us move our stuff. He did arrive later than the original time but it was due to a delay of the previous booking which is not really his fault. Defintely recommended!

Booked medium van and honestly was surprised that the van was so small as was expecting much bigger size. At the end we had to make 2 rounds instead of scheduled 1… but the driver was the best and didn’t make any fuss about it. Overall very good experience!
He was half an hour late but he let me know ahead of time that he would be. Very helpful and respectful especially considering we had to do two trips because I didn’t order a big enough van lol. It was my first time using a service for moving and would definitely recommend!

Prior to my move i contacted Joszef multiple times to change times etc. but it was never an issue for him. He responded promotly and was happy to accomodate my changes so it was much appreciated! Robert on the day of my move was fab! I had a tricky journey (4 stops in total to collect all my belongings) but he arrived at each location promptly and loaded & unloaded everything with care! Definitely recommend!

Andre arrived 25 minutes early. I didn't see any blankets or straps in the van but he laid my two heavy items down in the van.
He was ready to help me lift and transport the two heavy items to my flat door, but some people at Asteria House, Stratford didn't want this to happen. I had to take the two heavy items to my flat door myself. The whole point of paying for this service was for the Van Man to do this. Andre is not at fault here. He was quick and helpful. I would recommend him and his team to others.

Driver was so helpful, professional and friendly .He helped me a lot. He load and unload most off my staff. He packed so nicely my staff in the van. I had a lot like 25 medium plastic storage boxes and 20 strong Sainsbury’s bags, tv, iron table, washing rack and office chair. Everything fitted in the van perfectly. Moving home is very stressful and drive made this experience more pleasant.I am very great full he helped me a lot.

There was no problem with the actual moving. The driver was polite and helped me with my items. The only problem was that he was 1 hour and 10 minutes late, and that's not very pleasant for the money you pay.

Driver - who was under instruction from his boss, arrived in a large van - when i had booked a medium one, and tried to charge me additional for the larger van. The driver didn't seem to know how to pack up the van efficiently and I had to lead the entire loading and unloading of the van. Driver was miserable, uncommunicative and grumpy. I'm a petite 29 year old female and although happy and expected to helped the driver load, he didn't seem to have any care for my well being, pushing things far too hard and too fast leading me to fall up some stairs. I totally appreciate he was under instruction from his boss the whole time and was on the phone to him a lot, but customer service should come above being annoyed.

We are sorry you had a bad experience.
Regarding the situation happened:
1. When you booked the van you received an email confirmation with a picture of the Large van that will attend your booking. You have chosen a company and a Large van from a picture by yourself. From other side online you payed only for a medium van load.
Driver arrived and observed that you have a Large van load and additional charge should apply. You refused to pay and he called his manager. Nobody tried to charge you, we explained on the phone before booking started why additional charge should be paid, also you was on the phone with Compare the man and van customer services and I think they told you the same thing. We agreed to load as much as you payed for. In the end you could not fit everything in the van.
2. It was your will to help driver with packing and help carry some boxes to save time, we never ask our customers to do that.
3. Booking took 2 h 20 min and you payed only for 2 hours, driver told you that he will not charge you for additional time
We receive many bookings every day and behave in a highest possible level with all of our customers. Sometimes the are some misunderstanding and we will improve our services.

I have attached proof that the driver arrived on time and called you, as he parked a little bit further on a main road and could not find the address.
When asking 'where is the address?' The answer he received was ‘where you should be’.
I don’t understand your concern about the service but I think drivers should also have some respect.
As I informed there was no discussion with the driver about a poor service.

Was scheduled to be picked up at 11:30am. On the day, I received a call that the driver assigned can’t make it and that they’ll send someone else. Picked up at 1pm instead. They were very apologetic especially the driver even if he wasn’t the one assigned initially and the delay is clearly not his fault. He was also very polite and even helped with moving items even when I told him I didn’t pay for assistance carrying items.

The following problems:
1. The driver drove so close to the cars in front we were fearing for our lives for most of the journey.
2. The driver missed the turning from the M25 for the M1 - not exactly easy to do considering what a huge junction it is - adding at least 15 minutes to our journey time!
3. We were being taken to the NEC - the Exhibition Centre is huge, and carries more than 1 postcode. We needed to be taken to the Lorry Park (N12 - as I discussed on the phone the day before) - but once we'd arrived at the postcode on the original quote the driver stopped the vehicle and told us if we wanted to go further it would mean another 'stop' and more money! He expected us to offload in the middle of a road with no obvious place/building to load our goods. Totally thoughtless, ignorant and childish behaviour.
It was ridiculous from start to finish. The driver was inconsiderate, disrespectful and should not be tasked with such a job.
Do not use this driver. If he is simply a 'driver' for a fleet he has let the company down and will cost the company business losses.

I will answer your review step by step:
1. All the way to Birmingham you were driven at not more then 60 mph and from my own experience, the driver is responsible and safe. If you thought it was not safe you could have just simply asked him and he would do so, that is not a problem.
2.I agree, he missed a junction and the journey was 10-15 min longer but you arrived on scheduled time with no extra costs. Considering that he was helping you to load and unload the van and you hadn’t paid for it, I guess it recovers the time.
3. About the location of a drop off point, there was no description on the booking. I remember I received a call from you to confirm the booking but not sure you mentioned about the exhibition entrances and a drop off point. If I missed it I do apologise, that’s my mistake. That was a misunderstanding from the driver's side. For an additional stop we usually charge £5, that’s correct. But when you explained to the driver that it’s on the territory of the exhibition he finished the job with no problems and no extra costs. We would never consider to leave a customer in the middle of the road as it contradicts our service ethics.
Thanks to our customer's review we can improve our services and never make the same mistakes again.
