Terms and condtions

IMPORTANT: we reserve the right to refuse jobs accepeted without prior check of availability.

• if your inventory list is not the same as the listed on compartethemanandvan. we reserve the right to apply an extra charge or to cancel the job. 1-2 addtional boxes/some small items will not be a problem
• the standard distance between the property and the place where the Van is parked is 30 meters. For distance over 30 meters we will charge an addtional fee.
• dismantling and reassembling service is at extra charge, unless it was negotiated prior to the job acceptance
• client responsibility to check all valuable items after they had been delivered, during our presence. After that complaints will not be accepted.
• please advice all obstacales such as difficult entrance, floor level and narrow entrance
• It is your responsibility, to let us know in advance if for any reason you wish to cancel a Job or change to a different date from the original date.
• It is also your responsibility to ensure that your items are properly packaged either in a box or bubble wrapped etc. except you have made a special request for us to help you package or bubble wrap or use a blanket.
• It is important for you to understand that anything can happen when goods are on transit. We do not take responsibility for already damaged goods which did not occur during transit. i.e. goods that has already been damaged before pick up and after delivery.
