My booking was reallocated to Mo at very short notice when our original booking cancelled on us. Mo and his team were friendly, helpful, really careful and accommodating with a couple of very heavy/awkward/fragile items i had. My driver was fine. The overall experience with Compare the man and van was not. The initial booking cancelled five minutes before they were due to arrive and the delays in getting a replacement and lack of communication caused huge problems.
Very efficient and everything was intact
Driver was perfect. However, he was different from the one we booked initially and we were not notify so communication from the website not perfect. Nonetheless, the driver was really good so happy!

Mo was late as he had to rearrange a helper, but called in good time to let me know. Both guys were amazing, worked hard to get us moved and we're very respectful of our stuff. To add Mo saved the day after I had two cancellations.... couldn't recommend them highly enough.
The initial booked driver had to cancel. Despite my frustration the team booked another driver who came on time, was very professional, efficient and gave me back 30min of the estimated time. Highly recommended.

Hard working and helpful team. Respectful of items and most things are free of damage - few scrapes and bumps on some items. Took about double the time estimated for the move by Compare The Man & Van website so had to pay extra on the day.

Very good with my items. I don’t think there has been anything damaged from what I can see. I was charged an extra £18 as an L-shaped staircase apparently counts for as two separate staircases, but other than that I was really pleased with them both. I had a lot of stuff and it took longer than planned so I was charged extra for that too - but they did a great job with it all so I am really pleased.

Arrived almost two hours late as previous job overran. Terrible communication - called 5 minutes before the job to inform me he’d be 40 minutes late which then rolled ever longer. One of the two men was friendly - the other was half asleep. Perfectly helpful and efficient once on the job (which was a very easy one) but hugely disappointed and let down by poor timekeeping and communication.
I had the best move ever. The guys were ever so polite, they came 15 minutes early, very respectful and helpful. I will recommend to all my friends. They went an extra mile and very professional. I couldn’t stop thanking them. My only regret was I couldn’t tip them because it’s been a costly move but many thanks from the bottom of my heart to Mo and his colleague
Great guys and took great care of our items. Also have a tough task getting some hefty items up some tough stairs but they were fantastic and really cheerful.
The driver and his assistant arrived early. The move largely filled their Luton van but they managed to load, travel to the new location and unload carefully within 90 minutes. They were cheerful and seemed happy in their work. Highly recommended.

The guys were so helpful. They had to move a piano up some stairs and lift a lot of things but they never stopped smiling and laughing and were really cool and friendly and made sure everything was done in the right way and took proper care. Highly recommended.

Though the driver was not on time, it wasn't a great amount of time and he kept me well informed as to what was happening. He also made up for that time at the end. He was fair and very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding about the task at hand. A big thanks to the driver.

Wasn't particularly friendly, seemed in a really bad mood the whole time even though we were trying to be pleasant. Got the job done but didn't make it an enjoyable experience!
The driver called me twice. It was already 9 am (the normal arrival time) when the driver told me that he will be late because he is going to find his colleagues. He called me a 2nd time because he struggled to find the flat. He was stating that the post code was wrong. He told me the post code he had and it was correct. He was unkind over the phone. The driver and his team arrived 45 minutes late and could not get bothered to apologize. I decided to let my husband manage the moving and I left the flat. They were also clearly taking all their time to do the moving (knowing that they were paid per hour). Last year, I moved house and the other company I used were quick for similar number of items and less people to help. They also insisted to pack far from the house where we moved to. Our neighbour told the driver that it makes more sense to pack in front of the house where there was plenty of space. However, it took us 5 minutes to get him to agree to do so. No doubt, the driver simply wanted to waist more time. I would NOT recommend this company. It's not only about money but integrity and profesionalism.

Mo and Ade were just brilliant. They worked nonstop the entire day and when our time ran out, they carried on. It rained all day as well and was a pretty horrid job but they got on with it with big smiles and determination. Absolutely faultless service. Thank you so much MO and CO : )

Very polite, friendly and patient. Respectful of my possessions with lots of care taken while loading the van. Helped me to dismantle my wardrobes so they could be transported easily. Great support during a long distance move with a 6-7 hour drive between locations. Fab team to work with, they worked tirelessly without any complaints.

Fantastic Service from start to finish! This is the first time we have used this service, and even though we were nervous at first, both Mo and Ola reassurance, professionalism and friendly attitude helped eased our anxiety and stress. Both were great guys who never stopped working or wasting time. They were also very upfront about additional costs incurred (due to our error) and are very hardworking, considerate and respectable throughout the whole process, I would highly recommend these guys! Mo was absolutely fantastic...we were probably the customers from hell (far too much stuff & a drive to the other end of the UK) but he managed our move with skill, sheer hard work & humour. Hi,
I came to the job at 18:10, I was 10 minutes late due to a traffic hold up on the street next to the collection address and I did call the customer about the situation. The only issue I did complain to the customer about was the parking, which wasn’t suitable. Me and the customer brought her goods down with the lift and then loaded the van.
We went to the delivery address, unloaded the van and then she said I could go. I didn’t charge her anything, so I’m a bit surprised she gave me this kind of comment. I’m so sorry about everything.

Our moving day got off to a terrible start, with our driver changing our time last minute from 12pm, not saying how delayed he would acutally be. This then became 2pm and when he showed up, it was closer to 4pm, so he was very late. I was massively stressed and disappointed by this, as I had help from my family, who were only free for a set period of time. Comparetheman&van were great in helping to find a resolution and providing a refund. With all of that being said, once the driver did arrive, he couldn't do more for us. He helped load everything in the van, even though we only paid for the driver only service and he couldn't do more for us when we arrived at our property. So whilst the day got off to a bad start, he redeemed himself and went the extra mile to make our move as seamless as possible. He was also careful with our possessions, so I don't feel like the move should be written off as all bad. He was late and this was stressful for us, but he redeemed himself and worked his socks off.

The driver was outstanding and very helpfull one concern was the 3 hours at £118 we paid deposit of £44 .02 and we had the van from 9 until 1.30 and he charged as £115 when we finished but the calculation don't add up to that amount but our calculation is £96.48 so pls look in to this jacqui
My original driver was delayed so the company replaced them immediately. The 2 gentlemen that came were very quick and efficient. Polite and got the job done. Thank you
Driver was 35 mins late but did call, however late at night our driver was switched to a different company not as highly rated as our chosen movers. The van was covered in graffiti looked unprofessional , the driver and helper were slow kept stopping to chat or use phone, the helper disappeared for about 10 mins leaving my daughter and I to do a lot of the loading. This contributed to the increased cost also we weren’t told that because there was a curve with a short landing then 4 more steps it would cost even more they wanted £10 for 4 steps. Wouldn’t use service again although customer service was quick to respond.
