We booked a giant Luton van and 2 people to help. The guys were friendly, very hard working and fast whilst being careful and strategic. Moving is a huge job and we are extremely grateful and pleased with the service and smooth move.
These 2 men were like oxen! They made the work look easy and worked tirelessly until they were done! I seriously underestimated how much stuff we had but they were amazing and did not stop until it was all done. I’d use this company again in a heartbeat.

Very Highly Recommended! I booked Swift with only 24 hours notice for a move from London to Southampton. They arrived exactly on time, very professional, really helpful and with all necessary kit including an excellent sturdy trolley. We loaded and unloaded swiftly. They were very friendly, respectful and I had absolute confidence in them. Communication was great throughout. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them. Thanks to Swift, the move was completely stress free. Definitely 10 out of 10.

I don’t know how anyone can make moving stress-free, efficient and fun - but John and his partner were just amazing with moving our stuff today. There was great communication on arrival time and place, and when they arrived, they were very professional and efficient at moving all our things (even though there were some big / tricky items). They were calm and relaxed through the whole process, and managed to get everything moved within the time period. They took great care of all our things and nothing was damaged, dropped of broken in the move.
All in all, this is without a doubt one of the best movers we’ve ever had in London and we would not hesitate to use them again / recommend to our friends.

Slightly late but called ahead to let me know. Hardworking, systematic & logical driver. The van was too large to access the annex we were moving from but John and his helper cracked on taking a full van load of belongings down the road to his van and securely strapped everything in taking it to our new place without any damage. Very clear with extra charges due to extra time as soon as he knew the job would not be done in the estimated time. Only let-down was that I was expecting to travel with the van (quote said room for 3 persons) but had to arrange my own transport last minute as I was told there wouldn’t be space - given the Covid situation I did not press on the matter & had to call in a favour for a ride. Would definitely recommend John and will be using his services again soon.
Fantastic moving experience.
The guys were so so helpful. Turned up early, which was great - as it saved any standing around for the rest of our helpers. There was lots of stuff to move and they did it efficiently and were very careful with everything too. Thank you again guys! We we certainly be recommending you in the future!

Driver very pleasant and helpful - nice, easy and efficient service
The driver and helper were simply amazing. However, I am very disappointed with Swift Removals. I texted the office with photos of the furniture to move. First, they recommended a Luton van and I agreed and they also said that they would send a third man to help (with additional cost that I agreed to pay on the day). This never happened and, as a result, I ended being the third person. On top of the stress of a move, I had to work for 4.5 hours and this made my day very difficult and frustrating. I was exhausted the next day.
I did it because the two guys were extremely kind and very sweet but this did not work for me.
I have proof of the text where I agreed a third man to be sent but this never happened.
I feel that I should have some kind of compensation for the intensive work I have to do that I was not planning and for all the inconvenience.
At this point, I would not recommend booking a removal through Compare the Man and Van, but maybe there is something you can do to restore my faith.
I would like to emphasise that the driver and helper sent deserve a 10 out of 10 and this is the only positive thing of the experience.

Driver was a little late but let us know in time. I couldn't ride in the cab of the van which was a little disappointing but considering the circumstances it was fine.

The driver phoned to let me know that they were running late due to a flat tire which was fine and once they arrived they moved all of my items with great care and efficiency, I am extremely happy with the service they provided and if I ever have to move homes again they will be my movers of choice.

I am rating my REPLACEMENT driver (swift removals) here who I can't fault. I was supposed to have "Trust removals" arrive at midday but apparently they broke down. "Compare the man and van" organised the replacement for 4 hrs later, then they got a puncture so my overall experience was not good as my move was delayed 5 hrs in total. All I can suggest is that there should be a backup team at all times to go straight away in the event of a team breaks down.
I had to pay £65 extra been told it took one hour extra not happy

I am so sorry about the client's review. The job took 4 hrs and 20 mins and the client had paid for just 3 hrs and 30 mins which meant that the client had to pay for an extra 1 hr. The hourly rate was £65 which was shown on the booking details. We did the job professionally and we got paid according to your payment rules and prices. Unfair review should not affect our overall rating.

The guys were amazing!! They arrived on time, I had so much stuff that they had to make 2 trips and didn’t complain at all about running 2 hours late on my move. They went over and above to help get everything from one property to another and I would definitely use them again without thinking twice. Great service!!

Very quick and efficient would really recommend Swift London removals. Driver was kind enough to come back after the removal had finished to return one meaningless item that was left behind. Overall very trustworthy and kind. Also very quick with un assembling and re assembling my bed
Very quick, careful and polite
The driver was asked to go via Southwark recycling centre to drop things off but could not find it having been given the full address (however he did not take the initiative to look it up and call to find it or to call us to ask where it was) and then turned up at the final address where there was a brief discussion w my friend on the receiving end about paying for an extra half hour (which she paid) but at one point was threatening towards her which is completely unacceptable . All the stuff ended up in the end flat when some was supposed to be recycled and disposed of. Will not be re-booking through them unfortunately.
Driver's response:
I am writing to you just let you know what happened about the recycling address. Unfortunately the post code they gave us was not the exact address, but it was not far away from the correct recycling address. We asked if they knew the correct recycling address so we could follow them and go together, but they didn't. Afterwards they told us that we don't have to go to the recycling centre and they said go to the last delivery address. When we arrived at the delivery address we stopped the van and started waiting for them. During this waiting time I called Tanya Moore and asked her to please call her friend to say we were here and waiting for her.
When Tanya's friend arrived, we started unloading the van. We finished and when we checked the time there was an extra 25 minutes.
She was not happy to pay an extra £37.50 for the extra time, but at the end she paid even an extra £2.50 and she shook my hand. I wished them all the best.
Compare The Man And Man if you think we have done something wrong we can pay back amount they have paid to us for an extra 25 minutes.

True professionals, knew how exactly to handle every item, nothing was touched literally nowhere and they were fast and efficient during the whole move! Highly recommended especially if you are moving stuff to a new house where you need to avoid any scratch or damage!

My movers were amazing, I have moved flats every year for the last 5 years and this move was by far the most enjoyable because of them. They were so kind and friendly, they helped me move a giant sofa out of a tiny doorframe which seemed totally impossible. The management at the flats were being difficult too and despite that they did everything they could to help me move quickly and efficiently. Overall it made the move a much nicer experience and I would definitely recommend them to everyone looking for an easy move!

Johnathan was such an excellent mover. With all of the stress that comes naturally when dealing with such things re that day that the last thing you need to deal with is not trusting your service providers. This was quite the opposite. I had a tough lad fighting in my corner with me! Excellent service! Even arrived early in case I wanted to get started just then.

I have booked a van for 9 am and unfortunately the van broke down thus, was not able to make on time. I was informed about the incident 45 min before but the customer support was not providing support before 9 am. Therefore, my recommendation would be to provide support or alternative solutions before 9am.

We are sorry you experienced this problem with your booking. However, we can confirm that we are open from 8.00am to 8.00pm weekdays and there is also an emergency 'out of hours' number on the website for emergencies.

I needed help moving after I had an issue with a hired van in the morning. We needed a man w/ a van in an hour and this company came extremely quickly to our rescue. Both of the men moved everything quickly and professionally with a very good attitude. I was extremely pleased and thankful for their services. A bit odd that one moved the other organised? Sort of pay for extra physical power as I can organise. Ended up helping lift. My choice 100%. Just stressed for time.
The van was meant to arrive at 9 am and it got to us at 10:45am. This has caused issues with the move and my flat mate in relation to his work. Not overly impressed.
Driver and helper are good but I do not like their boss's attitude
Very professional and helpful until we asked to go to the second address (as we booked it in advance) and then I started getting calls from the manager saying they weren't happy and I should pay them more. I was going to tip them anyway so it worked out ok but not happy about the way this was communicated.

Great service, i would recommend them. Good communication, driver called me the day before for slight time change. Arrived early, very professional, asked what items about fragile items and used straps. Put all items in the desired room at the drop off.

The driver was an angel. He was very polite to my mother and I and went well beyond the call of duty, when he apologised for not having the materials to connect my washing machine. He took excellent care of my items and even helped to pack a few things to fill up some boxes. I would highly recommend him to anyone with a house move.
the first driver arrived alone despite the fact the order clearly shows two men required . the second driver and man arrived 4 hrs later and 40 min later than arranged . no straps or blankets resulting in door damage and walls damaged
CMV response: The customer was refunded for the 2nd man not attending. The driver has been advised that he needs to inform the office if he cannot attend a booking with the second helper to avoid this situation occurring in the future.

The move did not take place as it was not ordered for Christmas Day. Your man told me some months ago when we postponed our move that he would put "Christmas Day as no-one moves on that day", until we informed him of a moving date. So why Swift arrived I do not know, perhaps you can tell me, and the driver.

The driver did not notify me when the allotted time I paid for expired, he should have told me that the time it's now chargeable before giving me a chance to say yes or no. I ended up paying extra for 10 minutes which is unfair.
