Driver did the job, but I found him reluctant, non-communicative and slightly careless (he let me arrange the things in his van, and at the end didn't care to cover them with blankets or secure them against movements).
Very friendly and extremely helpful. Helped move everything from the house to the van and packed with direction. Then also helped unload and took all items directly to the door of the storage unit and helped to pack that well too. Would highly recommend!

I found the booking experience on the website inflexible and the van size information misleading as the description for the medium van sounded like it would meet our needs, and it would have been far too small. It was very stressful that there was no official way to upgrade to a bigger van after the booking. Luckily, we got changed last minute to a driver that had a bigger van & his service was excellent, so in the end all was fine.
He helped me unload stuff at the end of the trip, despite me selecting the ‘no help needed’ option when booking.
He was very helpful and made my move very easy! He ran late but apologised and made up for it with excellent service!

I would highly recommend Daniel to everyone. I was moving home yesterday but the lift in my block was not working. Daniel helped me to carry everything without any complaint. Luckily I lived on the first floor and it was Daniel being my driver. He is thoughtful. He gave way to wheelchair and signaled him not to rush. The man in wheelchair replied with a thumb up. Not only an efficient move, but also some enjoyable chat. Supergood driver who I definitely recommend!

There was some confusion over what help he was providing. The driver got very aggressive towards me and started shouting at me in the street attracting attention. He then threatened to cancel the trip when I had already loaded some of my items into the van. After asking him to calm down he did, but overall it was a really unpleasant experience

The driver got caught in traffic so was a bit late, but he did call to let us know. The main problem was he was pretty unfriendly. He was put out that there was a flight of stairs even though this was recorded at the initial booking. We all helped to carry the furniture out and the job was completed quickly but driver just didn’t seem to want to be there.

My friend and I who were moving were very disappointed in this service. First off, he was very ‘off’, unapproachable and it was clear he didn’t want to be there doing the job. The amount of times he sighed was countless.
Second, we done most of the work. We carried out a lot of boxes, bags and furniture while he was ‘rearranging’ in the van.
Third, at the other end he didn’t help us take anything up stairs even though we requested and paid for 1 flight of stairs. We asked him to wait until everything was out of the van before taking anything up the stairs as we would have to take our shoes off, however, he as soon as he emptied the van he couldn’t get away quick enough.
Overall, this was a very disappointing service and we would have been better and cheaper just hiring a van to drive ourselves.

Especially since I did most of the job. I carried all the heavy boxes and the entire job was done smoothly. As far as I was aware, everyone was happy during the move.
I can only imagine this review was made because I refused to charge them for one hour instead of two. Unfortunately that's not how the booking system works.

Driver was late, however it could be due to the location as the postcode took him elsewhere. Had to make conversation with the driver to feel comfortable with him. Otherwise, he did his job, which was to drive from my old and to my new home. Would recommend this service as it’s easy and simple to use. Would use this again if I needed this in the future

The passenger area of the van was filthy, the driver was not very helpful, zero common sense or proactive type behaviour when packing things or carrying out boxes/ furniture. He would just pick up cushions, whilst we struggled with bulky items and heavy boxes. I'd specified I would need help to move things. if i hadn't had additional help from my other half, then this would have been a really awful & stressful experience.

I'm disappointed that Shauntel Bennett gave me a 2 star rating as the job was completed without any problems.
I was late to this booking as I was raced into a curb by an ambulance approaching on a narrow road. Having to fix my punctured tyre- I called Shauntel in plenty of time to let her know I'd be at least an hour late.
She was very understanding and since the move of the three piece sofa was done smoothly and easily- I'm surprised to see such a poor review.

Uncommunicative before and throughout the move, no apology for being 45 minutes late and he rattled my shop door aggressively whilst I got the remainder of his payment - I’m assuming because he thought I wasn’t coming back? Hope to book someone else next time who can turn up with a smile and a friendly demeanour!

The driver should not rush so much, it just makes the moving more stressful. I had booked him for 2.5h, but it took us only 1.5h, so we would have had plenty of time to do things more calmly.
Because I have a Canadian accent, the driver tried to tell me I owed the congestion charge. I advised that there is no charge on the weekends; he let it go. Other than that, he was excellent!

I was confident when I saw the driver had a 5 star rating and offered a good rate, however he was not very friendly and he did not seem to be happy that I didn’t book a second helper. In my booking I only asked for a driver and requested that he helps load and unload, as my partner was there to help too but unfortunately my partner hurt his back the previous day, so I assured the driver that my partner and I will still be able to load and upload!
We asked if we would be able to add an additional drop off point but the driver again was not happy and said there would not be time.
However, we completed the move well within the 3.5 hour window I booked, in fact, there was over 1.5 hours left in which he could have indeed completed the additional drop off. So this meant I had to book a separate job and pay additional costs when it was unnecessary.
I did not see covers and straps, the van did not appear to be in great condition and there was no step to get off it from the back - which was rushing.
The only good feedback really is that we completed the job quickly!

I understand that you noted that I was late - I was indeed 7 minutes late (can be confirmed by my call logs). Unfortunately, there can sometimes be unexpected delays that can’t be prevented, I do apologise for this.
Regarding the blankets, I can confirm that I’m always prepared with blankets and straps for every job. I appreciate that perhaps you didn’t see them, but they were there and the boxes were all secure.
I’m disappointed to hear that I came across as unfriendly as this is not regular feedback. I do take pride in being friendly and making the move as enjoyable as possible.
By the time the job was complete, there was one hour left (not one and a half) the drop off that was requested would have taken much more than an hour to complete- which is why I apologised for not being able to do it. This was because I was already booked that afternoon.

The main driver was rude and disrespectful. He chastised me and my flatmate for both our methods of packing and the flat to which we were moving, commenting about how hard the move was. We will take the blame for putting in 4 flights of stairs on the website when the drivers believed it to be 7, as we both considered a flight of stairs to be equal to a floor in a building and did not consider a minimal landing not big enough for a chair to be a break in a flight. However, the amount of complaining and rudeness was unnecessary. The driver also expected me to have all the tools to dissemble furniture that he deemed could not make it in or out of either flat, as well as berating me for not noting furniture would need to be dissembled (though I saw nowhere on the site to do this). However, he mentioned that he had left his tool bag at a previous client’s, as it should have been irrelevant if I had them. Also, their attitudes did not lend a happy tone to the proceedings as the lead driver did not seem pleased from the get go regarding the amount of items we had, despite listing exactly all my furniture on the website and selecting the recommended truck. We had even broken down some of the furniture to make it fit better since reserving the truck. At no point did they share the packing or unloading plan with my flatmate or myself, which was inefficient especially considering we planned and offered to help as we knew it was a large move. When a plan was determined, they did not stick to it and instead continued about their indeterminate business. I ended up calling three friends to assist after releasing the drivers, and they were able to accomplish more in 2 hours than the drivers were in 4. All in all, it was a highly negative experience in which resulted in high stress and low spirits on the day, as well as additional expenses incurred by hiring additional people to finish the original job. I will not use their services again and recommend that management remove them from any moves that don’t involve a small truck and completely flat terrain as they will so openly complain to their clients.
The move was carried out expertly and without fuss although we had underestimated the amount.

The movers were 35 minutes late and called shortly after they were due to arrive saying that they would be late due to traffic. I am not sure if they had straps and blankets, though it didn’t appear so as they didn’t use any for my wooden furniture, which resulted in drawers of my antique dresser falling out and to the floor mid flight of stairs. Generally nice individuals though I expected a higher standard of care and service.

The driver had a serious attitude problem, on asking if he had insurance he threatened to cancel the job and every item he placed in the van he complained and showed already present scratches. The worst for me was that one of the chest of drawers was chipped which I did mention was very delicate and will chip easily. Further, that chip was covered with masking tape. They could have just told me rather than trying to hide it with masking tape. Really disappointing.
All the leather sofa and 2 of the dining chairs were scratched, which could have been easily avoided if they were covered with blankets properly, at least the chairs and the removeable back of the sofa could have easily been covered.
The back of the chest of drawers had a hole in it because the thing pushed in the front of it just went through. One of the glass top of a table which was wrapped in a rug never made it to the house. That rug had emotional sentiment and losing that was just awful. Again even after messaging to check where it was, I was told it was left in the house, which can't be found. I really don't care about the table but the missing rug is very upsetting.
We were moving to our new house and I understand that some of the things would be scratched and chipped but things like the front door which was wide enough to not have been scratched were scratched. In short this job just lacked the common curtsey and the respect for others property.
Thinking about it, on the first hissy fit the driver threw, I should have agreed to him cancelling the job. Lesson learnt :(
On the positive side, we had a super king size bed and mattress which I was dreading and they managed to get it up the 2 stories. For that I am very thankful. It was a very difficult and tricky thing which was eventually done.

I am sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the job. Id also like to note that my comments with regards to my insurance were not made out of bad attitude.
Your furniture was old and fragile, your initial question for me was whether I had insurance. At this point I kindly offered for the job to be cancelled, as I did not want to be in a situation where we had to identify existing damage to very old furniture.
You insisted on the job being done, despite the fragility and heavy furniture to be moved, we worked very hard to get the job done effectively.
With regards to the glass and rug, they are both in good condition, with my helper and will be delivered to your home address.
Ultimately, from the beginning, it was made clear that an insurance claim was to be made. Out of my good nature, I carried out the job and nothing was lost or damaged. We worked hard and I am disappointed to learn that despite you seeing all the hard work, you still found reason to be unsatisfied.
I do hope you are more assured knowing your sentimental rug is safe and will be delivered to your home.

Despite being just the driver and I (I did book for two people) we managed very well and to make up for the lack of assistance he took some extra items and helped me to carry some things upstairs. On the whole it was a very good experience.

I gave only 4 because of an hour late but everything was done nice quick. It should have been 5 otherwise. The driver and helper are both respectful.
They were prompt and very courteous did the move a lot quicker than I thought....can’t recommend them highly enough.

He spent time asking me - do you want this? do you want this? after I clearly packed for the move, said the wardrobe will fall apart so I should better leave it (it didn't) and then charged me extra time, cash only. He was also condescending and made me feel awkaward, also when I asked "is this a big van" as it wasn't that big to me, instead of saying "yes it is" he said - "we can cancel right now if you don't like it" when clearly I've packed my whole livelihood and have someone else moving on the same day. Also he broke 3 items despite them being bubble wrapped. I haven't actually seen him throwing stuff around as he told me to sit down (on the floor?!) and make myself some tea (I guess I was to unpack) and basically stay out of the way, even though I wanted to carry my most fragile and loved items myself. His helper on the other hand was very polite and nice and helpful, and luckily I managed to get him to take my fragile stuff

I hire the Van from the site because they are respectful and responsible drivers so will keep using them even thought they are late sometimes.
The service I received was fantastic and I would highly recommend our driver to everyone. He was on time and super helpful. Even before I booked, he was very responsive and helpful. Really impressed by he overall service, both from the driver and Comparethemanandvan!
This driver was ok, all went well but after we had to step in and ask for the van to be reorganised. The packing of the van was done in such a manner that half of it was empty, while only half of the packages were loaded. Aftee a short discution reorganised and all was put in.

The Man and Van ltd, promised we could pay deposit on card. Then that we could pay in full on Card or cash. This wash not true. We could only pay cash, which was then a nuisance.

Good service. No complaints. The only thing I would say is that it was a good job that I had a good supply of hand tools, without them the move may have gone less successfully.
Hi, our driver was 1.5h late. It was only after I called him that I learned he had a flat tyre and stuck in traffic on top of it. So we had to wait outside with all our stuff in the cold, as he kept on saying he'll be arriving soon. Therefore we would like to request a full refund.
Otherwise once the driver arrived, he was polite and completed his work professionally.

Arrived on time, helped me through a complication, good service.
On time. Van as described. Drivers friendly and knowledgeable about the order and how to pack items in the van, whilst proving support and avoiding damages. Came with blankets but no straps (we had some anyway). Very quick. Went from Reading to Bracknell (15ish miles) and all done within 2 hours.

Wanted to change time of booking night before, advised to contact driver, did but he misunderstood so was there at original time. Otherwise booking was all fine
There were too few blankets, I believe, and I saw no straps.
I must add that I should have ordered a bigger van and Lee and his co-worker did a sterling job.

Really good and happy with them. I tried being all smart and coming up with ideas/suggestions on how to pack, and they guys (rightfully) just looked at me and said "we got this". And they did. Carefully packed everything like Tetris, carried everything, and were overall super helpful.

The driver was competent and did a good job. However, he could have been a bit more careful to avoid possible damages to the furniture (only a couple of small damages).
traffic was really heavy and they called to explain delay which was fine in my case. They were really helpful and helped me enormously to do everything within time frame and sort out the destination storage so there was room. there were some extra small items that they just handled without question. Very helpful and hardworking guys.

He went to the wrong address to start with and then found me when I heard my phone and spoke to him.
I really liked the service, just don't really agree with the fact of minimum time to be 2 hours service. I spent only 30 min to move from 1 place to another and paid for 2 hours. Not fair at all. Apart of that everything was beilliant. Thank you

Overall, this was not the best move I've experienced - though it wasn't a bad move. The driver spent the first 10 minutes telling me the stuff wouldn't fit and that I should've checked online for sizes. The stuff did fit, with room to spare.
Once we got started I rather felt I was moving the stuff and the driver was simply organising the van. In previous moves, the driver has always taken a more direct involvement, but perhaps I've just been lucky. As a result the move overran the 2 hours costing me a further

Elyes, my driver, was excellent. I needed a van in two hours and he could perfectly managed to arrive on time -unlike other companies-. He helped my partner and myself very kindly. The driving was supersafe. We were very happy with the service. Would definitely use again and recommend to everybody.

Driver was one hour....and I write again ONE hour late...he didn't even seem to be sorry about it and because no parking was available when he came he wanted to leave and come later...we found it after 2minutes!
He let my boyfriend do the hard job and after the heaviest boxes he waited for us downstairs while we finished to carry the rest of our stuff.

The driver was 50 minutes late without apology. He was chatty but was offensive and extremely rude about my job and made me feel inferior. Later into the journey he put his headphones in and listened to his ipod (although he had annoyed me so I wasn't overly bothered!) He dropped at least one box, didn't stack the boxes properly, didn't handle them with care and didn't offer to move my boxes into the flat (just loaded them into the lift). Overall, the only positive I have was that he managed to get me moved in within the two hours but I wouldn't use him again.
The first allocated driver canceled and were not informed about that.
Not a great attitude, paid extra in cash to help carry items up one flight of stairs as my husbands back is bad, but dropped things at the front door, so husband had to carry.

These guys were fantastic! I just walked them through the furniture and boxes I was moving and they told me I could go grab a cuppa! They worked fast and efficiently, were very respectful of all my items, and a massive plus was that I genuinely enjoyed the hour and a half drive to my new place in the van with them. Touchwood I wont be moving again, but if I was I would 100% use these guys again. Incredible value for money.

I wasn't there for the move but I asked my friends to help to make sure everything went okay and to help him get into both flats. Apparently the driver had trouble finding my flat for the pick-up point, but other than that he was quick and respectful to my friends which was great. Would book again if I ever needed to.
I requested a man and one extra person. The driver was fantastic. Worked hard (and we really had some heavy furniture! And it was one of the hottest days in London this weekend!) was organised and very respectful of our property. I would hire the driver any time in the future. The extra person brought along was not good. He didn't know what to do, barely move anything and at times when he did things were dropped. I feel like I am being harsh but compared to the driver he was not that good. The driver called in another person to help which was really appreciated and the third person was really good as well. If this review was for the driver and the third guy it would be 5+ stars but the initial helper was not good and would recommend the seasons guy not being used again. A huge thank you to the driver and the third man that came to help it was a really hot day and some of our furniture was really heavy. One thing to note as well - I marked that the driver was late but he did call me in advance of the start time to let me know that he was sitting in traffic on the way.
