A very positive experience! Malik the driver was very friendly and professional, and arrived punctually. When, due to circumstances outside of the company's control, the second man didn't turn up, the company sent a replacement almost immediately, and Malik took on the bulk of the work efficiently and cheerfully. It was also lovely to receive a check in call from the office both before and after the move to check the details of the job and that everything had been okay - that was hugely appreciated. I was very happy with the on day service, the driver and I had to carry a large table up several levels via a tight staircase. He was extremely helpful and worked very hard. However I was frustrated that when I booked the service via Man&Van, I thought I had booked moving the furniture to a 3rd floor, however the website states 3 flight - Not floors. Most buildings have 2 flight for every floor. I didnt notice this so had to pay a surcharge the night before the move. The website should be amended as I am sure this causes confusion to most people.

The driver arrived 2 hours late. Firstly they said they were going to be 30 minutes late, which I said was ok even though I was on a schedule and had booked the appointment at 2pm for a reason. They then said they would be another 35 minutes. An hour later, they still had not arrived. In the end they arrived at around 4pm, did not even apologise for being late, were very rude, and completely negligent with my belongings when moving them into the van. Even after all that, when we were in the van the driver answered a phone to his ear while driving. I am extremely dissatisfied with this entire service and do hope I receive some sort of compensation for this horrible experience.

Driver didnt arrive on time because of heavy traffic from a tube strike. The company and driver kept in touch all the time keeping me updated about the arrival time. Driver was very polite and careful with my things. I had boxes, luggage and some small pieces of furniture. Would highly recommend!

This comment is for your new and upcoming customers. To be able to have a smooth move, you really need to have all your stuff ready and organised, have it plan ahead before the driver/helper arrives as it will really save you time.
Over 1.5 hours late, paid for 3 people but had to move pretty
Much all nut stuff downstairs as they didn’t drive on time and we had an allocated arrival time for our destination that we didn’t make.
I’m professional outfit, our fridges we’re on there side, back, upside down, I’m pretty sure the condenser has broken from being thrown around, armature removal. Also broke a handle off my cool box. No real respect for property and definitely didn’t packaging anything with blankets

Driver arrived 2 hours late which messed up everything with the move. Complained to me about parking as well as didn’t secure anything of my stuff in the van. Wouldn’t advice anyone to pay 113 pounds for a 2 miles moved

Malik was great and made my house move really smooth and hassle-free. He handled all the luggage nicely, was friendly and finished the job in-time. I’d highly recommend him and his company for being very organized and good at communication.
The driver arrived 1 hr 45mins late; I got a message to say he was running late but no information as to when he might arrive. After several attempts to contact him he rang me and gave me an arrival time. He did not apologise and simply said that the previous job had run over. I told him I wasn't happy and as he hung up I overheard him tell his colleague that I was a 'cheeky woman'. So overall I don't think I can recommend them and I don't think I will be using them again.

The driver has NOT turned up and has been non-contactable! Phone number does not take phone calls and texts are returned undeliverable. I have emailed him but no reply. I have emailed comparethemanandvan. I am waiting for a reply. Tragically, I have also had to advise PayPal that the service has not taken place.
