Really friendly and helpful. He was on time (well, he arrived quite early but was happy to wait). I'd accidentally selected 'no driver help' but I did require his help in the end, and he charged me an additional £58 (to move from third storey to first storey flat) I wish there was an easier way to amend my booking rather than directly emailing (i.e. to add driver help), or to retrospectively add my phone number (I hadn't added it when I booked, unaware that I wouldn't have another opportunity to share my number with the driver) so my driver couldn't contact me in the end!

The driver was on time, even a bit early. Helped out on organising our things on the van. During the ride to the destination he was careful to not take any sharp turns or run over any bumps, which helped a lot to not damage anything we had in the van. Absolutely recommended.

It was great! Very reliable and we packed up and down super fast. There was a question if the lifts will work on the day of the move but we discussed it through email. I received a quick response to my email and there was flexibility on the timing (luckily the lifts were fixed on time).

The vehicle did come with blankets, straps and a trolley but they weren’t used. I was told I had a ‘difficult load’ as my items weren’t just boxes, despite giving an itemised list ahead of time. My elderly parent did more of the lifting than the man with van. Some of my items were damage in the move. All in all, a more stressful and challenging move than it could have been.

The driver was a great guy. I called him earlier to confirm the slot and he had already made the research on where the address was and how to get there (8 hours earlier). He was also in contact during the day with updates on his schedule. He ended up coming 10 min earlier which was great for the rush hour.

Hello,
For the previous booking I had to move the customer to the countryside and she didn’t travel in the van with me, and came with her own motorbike. Unfortunately something happened to her motorbike on the way so I had to wait half an hour outside her house for her to arrive. After completing that booking I called this customer. I called this customer beforehand to let them know that I would be late due to this and also the M23 being closed, leaving me no option other that to take a longer route. I told her on the phone that she needed to pay the congestion charge but she told me she didn’t have any money to pay this, so I told her to read her confirmation email as this would let her know that she was responsible to pay the congestion charge. I completed the job in less that 2 hours which she had booked, so she started asking me for a discount for 3-4 minutes straight and was telling me she was unemployed. The problem for this customer was not the mask or me being late, it was that she was continuously asking for a discount and me telling her that this was not possible as if the driver completes the booking in less time than booked they don’t give a discount. I cannot rate my move highly enough with Ismail. Moving is stressful but the driver was absolutely amazing. I had unforseen problems with parking- he solved it. He was incredible careful of all my things and packed them excellently to make sure nothing could be damaged in transit, whilst on the road something flew off the van in front of us but Ismail is an incredibly skilled driver so not only were my things safe but I also felt comfortable. At the storage facility the driver took over the move so I was free to sort out paperwork etc. However, the reason for my rave review is because of how kind and thoughtful Ismail was. He is an incredibly wonderful man and personally took me to the bus stop at the end of the move to make sure I got back home safely after going out of his way to take me back to London. This level of care really is priceless and very touching. So thank you Ismail. I won't forget the move in a hurry for all the right reasons!

Fab service, on time, good driver, felt safe, successful move.
Overall the process was fine.
However, I paid for 1.5hrs, and after 1hr he left saying that he couldn't leave the van on the street. I was left to bring all my boxes from outside my apartment block. So I paid for 30mins more than I received, and also had to do the heavy lifting myself.
Lastly, I had marked a box as fragile and told him upon arrival that it was such. When I unpacked this box I noticed that a jar which I had packed carefully in a lot of bubblewrap was broken into pieces. I am disappointed that this happened as it was very carefully wrapped and if the driver had been careful with the fragile box I am sure it would have been fine.

Hi,
I am writing regarding the negative review from the customer Katie. I was extremely careful with all of her boxes, and did not stack them on top of each other in order for them to not get damaged. She brought the boxes from her flat to the lift herself and was in a rush, therefore she may have been the one who caused the jar to break. When we arrived to the drop off destination she told me that she called her boyfriend to come and help her, and I parked the van, however it was not a free parking spot. Us three carried everything to the lift. Afterwards I told her that the parking spot wasn’t free therefore she told me that she would take everything from the lift into her apartment with her boyfriend. She then paid me the congestion charge, we shook hands and I left the building. I carried everything with Katie from the lift to the van, and later on in the drop off destination I carried everything with her and her boyfriend from the van to the lift. As they were doing it with me, one of them may have been the one who damaged the jar as I was very careful with everything. Everyone I have worked for have been left happy with my service, and I don’t agree with the points she has made in her review. If you have any further questions feel free to contact me.

My Driver was late by an hour - but honestly not his fault as there was bad traffic and it couldn't be helped.
The driver was very apologetic and was so helpful in helping me move on my own, loading and unloading was no issue at all - even when access was unexpectedly restricted at the destination we had to carry all my belongings in a more further distance, but the driver was able to come up with an idea to move everything quickly and carefully.
He was also very careful and paid close attention to the way he arranged items in the van and ensured everything was secure and safe. I was absolutely reccomend this driver again to anyone. Really great service and made moving a whole lot easier.

He arrived half an hour early, and helped to lift everything into the van. When we got to the other side, he helped us to unload everything. We were very disorganised, and werent quite ready when he came, but he was patient with us and good-humoured about it - I would recommend him.

I had called a few days previously to say I had more stuff than I stated and that I was concerned about where the van could park. I put my hands up that I had a lot of stuff, more than I had planned, I had asked the driver for more help or time and he said it was only him but no problem if it took more time. He arrived early and we struggled to find anywhere suitable to park due to the fact my Road has unrestricted parking so cars tend not to move. He had to park in the road, double parked which was very bad, but we had no other option.The driver became very wound up and started shouting at me not to say sorry and that I had chosen a stupid time to move I chose 10am to avoid rush hour. He told me for a flat move I must move after 7pm) he was then very stroppy and aggresive in his manors, even to my elderly mother. At one point I offered him water and he told me to shut up talking and just move the stuff. My friend also helped and we got the whole van filled in 45 minutes which was incredibly fast. He calmed down on the drive and was then incredibly polite and helpful, especially with my father who was as helping on the other side but I know it was due to the fact he had been so rude. I just feel that it wasn't necessary to shout at me, even though I tried everything to improve the parking situation. We were within the 3 hour time and I tipped him £24 which he didn't thank me for, the whole time I was apologising, but of course he was worried he would get a fine for double parking which I have offered to pay if it is given . I know I had a lot of stuff but I warned him and I had 2 people helping me, but to be rude to 3 women who were running with the stuff and doing everything he asked, was rude and unprofessional. I won't be recommending or using his service in future.

Good morning. What ever is written there is just simply lie. Her place was in a red route which she never mentioned on the comment. The only correct thing she has written was as i told her that she should've book at 19:00pm or later. But i have never said to her to shut up nor shout. To other 2 ladies i haven't even said a word. You can also view the area guys through google maps and you will understand. I have never been rude or aggressive to any customer this lady has lied. This was a good lesson for me so from now on if its a red route i am not stopping at all. As i did help her by stopping there and she is writing a bad review.

Very Rushed and not listening to requests of how to handle the artwork. The straps were there but not used, as if it were too much hassle to protect the items properly, very disappointing.

Hi there,
Yesterday the customer phoned me and requested that I do the job yesterday (21st June). I did explain to her that I could not as I was busy. She then said to leave it as it is for today.
I worked fast as the guy who was with me all the time kept asking me when we would reach the drop off address. They did not want to pay anything extra, which is fine but I worked fast and they still complain!
They told me to fasten the art work with straps but I told them that the straps would crack the artwork because the straps are strong. However, please bear in mind that the lady who wrote this review and who made the booking wasn't with me at all, she just said good morning in the morning and she brought couple of frames and that was it. I never saw her again as for the whole of the booking the other guy was with me.
I do work diligently for every customer and I do work quickly as otherwise people are liable to complain that I am slow. The guy who attended the booking was really scared that the artworks would get damaged and yet they wanted to use straps that would have damaged all of them.
In the end the job was done perfectly, without any damage and on time. Had I used the straps and the artwork been damaged, there would no doubt have been a claim for compensation. Had I worked more slowly, there would have no doubt been a complaint about any overtime payment.
The guy who was with me said thank you at the end of the booking and he seemed happy.

The van was somewhat smaller than I expected however the driver was super helpful in spite of the tight squeeze to get everything in and the record temperatures (carrying stuff up two flights of stairs in over 30 degs. is a tough job!)

Driver was little unhappy that we have paid only £40. I have told him that total quote was £53.86 and already I paid advance £18.62. He says the advance doesn't goes to him not sure how far it is true. He is polite, helpful, on time no issues.

the email which you provided for the driver was rejected as unknown. We could not get through on his telephone and there was no recorded message facility. We wanted to advise him about parking outside the house. In practice all went well. Straps and blankets were not needed, so we didn't enquire.
CMV Response: We can only supply contact details that the driver provides to us, and there has never been a complaint of this nature before. Indeed, if we had been contacted prior to the move, we would have been happy to contact the driver on the customer's behalf. We have made the driver aware that this customer had problems contacting him prior to the move.

He seemed nice, although wouldn't listen to directions as thought he knew better, so we drove around in circles due to the one way system. Not impressed that I had to pay cash for the congestion fee. I think that should be included in the initial quote.
CMV response: unfortunately we are unable to include the Congestion Charge in the initial quote as it is a Government tax. The fact that the charge is not included in any quote is clearly displayed on the website and there is also a warning in relation to this on the email confirmation sent to the customer at the time of booking.

This Man is THE MAN! his van is yellow, not just because he's worth 5 stars but also because it represents everything about his service. He is pure sunshine, and he has the strength of Samson!
