Damion and his team did an amazing job with moving me from London to East Sussex! They were both super efficient, speedy and highly skilled in moving & packing up the truck for maximum space. Excellent service. The movers handled the boxes, electronics etc. with care during both loading and unloading. They were professional, quick, efficient from start to finish. Damien and his helper were fantastic, they got the job done so quickly and efficiently and managed to fit a huge amount in the van. They had to navigate difficult stairs and got everything moved without any damage. I would definitely recommend them and book them again!

They were in fact a bit delayed by traffic which is very heavy on the A2 but they texted and phoned twice to keep me aware of where they had got to.
Was a little late (London traffic can be a bit of a pig!) but kept us updated the whole time.
Pleasure to spend time with these chaps and nothing was too much trouble for them. They helped us so much with our office move and did it all without a fuss.

The guys have been excellent. It was a challenging move (van was fully loaded and a big sofa had to be moved to a first floor) but they have managed to do it. I cannot be happier and I will not hesitate in calling them again (or recommend them to friends)
UMovers really made my house move really smooth. On the day itself, the drivers were about 20 mins late, but, they informed beforehand that they would be late. In terms of the packing / shifting of items, the two chaps who came were real professionals. They loaded and unloaded everything really quickly, with no damaged items. Nice to see that they take pride in their work. Looking at how they stacked things in the van, it seemed like the drivers were lifetime tetris players. Will use UMovers again for future moves!

The movers provided a great service; fast, efficient and happy accommodate the many mistakes I'd made in planning things. However they were 75 minutes arriving, which does seem to be a consistent issue.
Guys did a great job when they arrived. They were an hour late but kept us informed so we were aware. On arrival they took a look at the contents to be moved and were very efficient in moving everything out. They were polite with good chat and took note of fragile boxes. Packed the van efficiently and unpacked everything with the same standard. Very happy to help move boxers to the appropriate rooms.

It was a very stressful day for us but the U Movers guys were very calm and kind. They took care of our items when they loaded and unloaded the van. Dropped everything very carefully at our new place according to how it was labelled. They even disassembled and reassembled our furniture which was too big to go through the door but at an extra cost. They were really professional and friendly. We are very grateful to both of them for helping us move so smoothly. Highly recommended. Five stars!

Although the driver is 20 mins late he messaged me earlier about it, it's fine. The driver is very helpful, moved most heavy items in a very short amount of time. He has the tools to disassemble the dining table as it's too big to enter my new apartment. I would love to recommend the driver to my friends who is considering to move :).

The two men who came to do our move were fantastic. They were very careful with our things, they were really good at fitting everything in the van, they were helpful and friendly and very efficient. It made what would have been a very stressful day much easier. We would highly recommend and definitely use them again.
These guys were so helpful, they took all the stress out of moving for us - they were able to dismantle our bigger furniture and reassemble at our new home. They offered to take much more stuff onto the van than we booked too as had plenty of remaining space.
We underestimated the booking time needed but they didn't mind at all, and was very easy to pay an overtime fee for them at the end.

Came an hour late BUT the important thing is that they organised my move at short notice when I accidentally booked the wrong date, they didn't mind that I had extra items, they were careful with all belongings, they packed the van securely, and they were nice so 10/10

Great service! They were very efficient, expertly loaded our stuff in the van. They were 15 mins late, but they rang to let us know and were so fast that we were still unloaded and in our new flat 15 minutes earlier than expected.

Driver was caught in traffic but let us know more than half an hour before the scheduled time, so we weren't left hanging. Very polite and courteous. Answered questions about how our stuff would be kept safe in transit and overall gave a very reassuring experience.
Our driver called 30 minutes before his due arrival time to say he was running 30 minutes late. He then arrived at his new stated time, and moved our things carefully and with polite, friendly goodwill. We're very happy and would use this service again and recommend it to our friends.

The team were on an earlier job that finished at 13:10 in CR2 6EW. The team directly headed to this job in SE14 but there were many road closures which severely delayed us. Ms Holly was understandably frustrated by the delay as she arrived to the collection address just after 2 pm, we regularly updated her with our eta from google maps which kept creeping up as the traffic worsened and apologised for the delay. The team arrived and started at 14:53 and finished the job at 16:20.
We apologise once again for the delay but it was really out of our control.

Had a fantastic experience with Damian. He was brilliant. Strong, fast, efficient and very capable. Our furniture arrived safely and on time. horrible experience, the drivers didn't do their job, they didn't bring the fridge to my flat (it was supposed to be a single item delivery), they were always on the phone, they were completely disrespectful, they left way earlier than 2hours, and they even threatened me to punch on my face, I'm shocked. Pls refund me in full and suspend this company immediately, as they are dangerous.

Thank you for this email. This review is false, I was personally on the phone with the customer and speaking with the team.
The delivery was of a large American style fridge freezer from John Lewis, the team started by picking up the fridge from central London at 6.45pm, They managed to get the fridge in the van only by using the tail lift (which was not required in the booking).
The team called me when they where on their way to the delivery address as they were really concerned due to the weight of the fridge and that it would be impossible and unsafe to carry it over any stairs. I told them that the booking says “no stairs” so they should not take the item over any stairs specially as it would be unsafe, I also asked them to call the customer and double check incase there is stairs so they return the item to John Lewis if the customer chooses so.
They spoke to the customer and he said there is no stairs but there is a lift they can use.
When they arrived they were faced with a different and difficult situation, they found that there is about 4 steps to the reception of building then there is lift, I personally told them they should not carry the fridge over any stairs unless it’s safe, the customer and the building’s concierge offered to helped them so they all carried the fridge over to the ground floor.
Then the customer wanted the team to take it up to his flat using the lift but the concierge told the team that it’s too heavy for the lift and if the lift broke or got damaged it would be our responsibility. They called me to ask what to do, I told them they delivered the item and they should go, it was 8.40 pm.
The customer told them “it’s not my problem” you have to take this fridge up and they respectfully refused.
This team has helped 100s of happy customers safely respectfully, we also have to consider the safety of our team members.
The team told me afterwords that when picking up the item from John Lewis the in store delivery people told them “good luck with this one” as they refused to deliver this item previously.
I hope this shows what really happened, the concierge was witness to everything that happened. At no time did any body threaten the customer that is absolutely false.

Delightful chaps who worked very hard. They were organised and knew precisely what they were doing. Really friendly and courteous at all times. They took great care of my items and also the buildings being moved from and to. Would recommend without hesitation!
The gentlemen that attended my home were kind and courteous, however, they let themselves into the property when they arrived instead of waiting to be let in. One gentleman took off his shoes, the second did not. The second gentleman appeared to be on some kind of family conference telephone call all throughout the reassembly of the furniture which made communicating with him difficult. The reassembly of the sofa was a bit disorganised, but they did a good job using the space and tools they had, given that the attachments for the sofa had been damaged by the seller prior to moving and the constraints of small London residences. So overall, the experience was middling, as they seemed quite kind and courteous gentlemen, however their professionalism could use some work.
Some of my furniture has been broken, unfortunately it is still in storage so I'm unable to see how much has been broken.
I appreciate that they were polite, gave professional advice and very quick got it all loaded and relocated in 45 minutes. No scratches on furniture , no damage to property structure and placed as requested. Thanks I appreciate your service.

The guys were very helpful, polite and really worked hard to get our move done on. We did run over time but quite a stretch so would not recommend cussing the estimated time calculator as it was massively out.

Even though they were a little late, they exceeded my expectations! I had a sofa delivery at the same time as I was moving in and needed to take the door off in order for it to fit through the door. The delivery company said they weren't going to help. Luckily my men and van were there to save the day!
These guys were absolute legends. The sort of job they walked into with me was one they would have every right to turn down on arrival (9 hugely heavy metal-framed sofas that weighed a ton!) However they took one look at it and cracked straight on. Super friendly. I cannot possibly recommend any more highly. Heroes!

They were an hour late. But apart from that, they worked really hard to move our stuffs without any fuss and very conscious of our belongings too. None of my items were broken but I lost one of my small plant during the move. If they weren’t late, I would definitely give 5 stars.

Though driver was late, he rang to inform me of the delay, and kept me informed at every point. I was not time-constrained so was not a problem. The team were careful with my stuff, and gladly dismantled and put back together one item of furniture to get it into the destination flat. Good job!

Damion and Kai arrived early and approached our move very professionally. Very smooth and diligent movers and made use of every space of the Luton van which was completely filled up in the end. They did not waste any time. They brought a cart to move the boxes and had blankets with them for furniture. Best movers we had so far (having moved 5 times in London) and we would definitely recommend them. In addition, they are very friendly guys.

They didn’t listen to my instructions and instead of lifting the bed frame they dragged it across the room. Thankfully the scratch was superficial, so it cleaned easily. But when I was telling them how to do it their answer was “Boss I know what I’m doing, that’s not a scratch”... however, they should do things more carefully. Plus then they laughed at me helping them move the frame (since I didn’t trust them to do it) and I had to ask “what’s so funny?” Until they stopped laughing. Never using them again. On top of that, they were 30 minutes late... which means I had to pay for an extra £15 for one-hour extra parking in my building as they went over the allotted time. And they charged me £22 for the extra minutes they took to move me (so 3 hours and 15 minutes instead of 3 hours). Given they were late and I had to pay extra for them to be able to park for longer, I don’t think I should have been charged. I did not give them the £20 tip I was going to give them due to their laughing and underestimating the damage they could cause to my new oak floors by dragging the bed.

Amazing service! Dean and Kai were on time and went above and beyond with helping me. Even when we ran over on time they were extremely helpful throughout the process and I couldn’t have asked for a better team.
It was good in the fact that the drivers were friendly and everything got from one house to the other. However, they didn't pack the van efficiently and were incredibly slow (resulting in paying for extra time). I have no issue with additional payment if it is warranted. To put this in perspective, we moved from Ipswich to London in 1.5 hours less (with the same items, same size van and people) than it took us to move from North to South London last weekend.

Was booked for 3pm, different drivers emailed through. Called to say be there at 4, then called to say be there at 5, which they were. Understand they prob got held up elsewhere. However, am not happy that I had to wait around for over two hours and had to cancel a prior appointment was due to be at.
Damian and Wayne were absolutely amazing. Highly professional, did all the work no questions asked. High attention and very careful handling of the items.

We started at 1.30 and finished at 6.09 we charged an extra £72 for 1.5 extra.
I know for a fact that all of our vans including this van are equipped with plenty of blankets straps and ropes and have commercial heavy duty trollies.

Guys were amazing and very friendly and helpful. I had underestimated time to move everything and they stayed on to do a second run to finish everything. They were a little late but called to let us know what time they would be at the house and worked an extra 2 hours to finish the move. Would recommend.
The driver was an hour late, the work was very slow. I felt like the driver took an overly long time to load and unload the van, resulting in an extra hour having to be paid for.
The drivers mate was very very slow almost frustratingly so, it was visibly evident that he was avoiding doing any heavy lifting which is ya know..their job??

I was charged an additional 20£ to move a tall book cabinet from ground floor to first floor since the height of the cabinet didnt allow it to fit in the lift. 20£ for a task like that is unreasonable.

If your items are too big to fit into the lift at the property and you then ask the drivers to carry your goods up or down any flights of stairs, they are correct in charging their stair charge for this, as listed on the website.
The drivers were very nice indeed, but there were over 3 hours late. We did have to keep ringing them to find out where they were.

I had a driver and a mate named Mo and Wayne and what great guys there were. Friendly, fun, relaxed, professional and they made the move appear effortless, even though it was a lot of effort for them, due to the large amount of stairs in my new property. I would recommend these two highly. They were respectful to property and had sheets and blankets to protect items from breaking or getting dirty. I will happily use their service again in the future and recommend without hesitation.

The original driver let me down telling me 1/2 hour before the collection time he would be very late.
The operator managed to get an excellent replacement but this arrived 3/4 hour late .

One can never predict traffic and the traffic was bad this morning which did result in the drivers arriving late however they did communicate to me that they would be late and so I was informed. They also apologised a few times which is always respectful and appreciated. That aside, this was the best moving experience so far. These two guys, Wayne & Jan are brilliant at packing. They managed to fit all of my stuff into their Luton-van with medical precision -- and with care. Nothing was damaged, everything was gently taken care of with blankets and bungee cords. The detail was incredible, including ensuring that my paintings were cushioned and held on the interior siding of the van away from the hard furnishings. These two men are strong, patient and kind. Both gentlemen were smiling and easy-going. Its rare that you encounter genuinely nice people and that was a bonus. Thank you Wayne & Jan for your hard work today and for being such empathetic professionals on the job.
I have to say these 2 guys were a pleasure to work with. We had a lot to move and they were on the ball. Pleasant guys and very strong which was great as I have booked similar services before when the guys were struggling with lifting everything.
They got the whole move done within the 2 hours too so we didnt need to pay extra!

They arrived on time and had all their own equipment. The truck was clean. They moved all the items very carefully and nothing was damaged, despite some tight turns in the properties. They also worked very efficiently and the price was reasonable. I would definitely hire them again.
Unfortunately the original driver had to be replaced so I wasn't able to start loading until 3 hours after original time slot. The driver I had though was very good an helpful.

The driver was 45 minutes late, the two man team took 3-4 times longer to shift the same items that a previous team booked through CTM&V so so had to abandon second round trip because they run out of time - signed off job noting damage to cradle & 1.5hrs unused time.

Although they were a bit late they telephoned to let me know, so it was not an issue. The guys did a great job, they did not waste time & tried their best to get everything in one load. We ended up doing 2 loads but that was to be expected, we had a lot of furniture to move. I would use their services again.

As you can see from my answer to the standard questions this company fulfilled their obligation. The van was the standard I expected for the price I paid. Of particular note was the driver, who was helpful with the move. Unfortunately I had requested lots of blankets to protect the items, but there were only 4 in the back of the lorry. Also, I had spoken to the company before the day to make the request, so this was disappointing. As granite work surfaces were part of the load it could have been a nightmare. Therefore next time I will state the number of blankets I need. But overall I would recommend their services.
Excellent service. Turned up a bit early, but called to ask if it was it ok if they started or did they need to wait. Moved a very heavy piano out of a first floor flat and delivered to house without issue. Both guys very polite. Would definitely use again.
