This company were last minute replacements for another firm who cancelled the booking at the last minute. The replacements were brilliant and the driver couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful. Huge thanks to these guys for their service.
Terrible driver changed three times, sent a larger van without discussion despite not needing it and then saying I would be charged 20 extra. Driver wasn’t briefed about the stairs, complained about having to lift things and then lied to say that he went over the allocated time even though he arrived late and finished early. Complete shambles will not be using the service again.

The actual drivers I had were good, this review is a reflection of the service I received from Vytautus as the company owner (the drivers were subcontracted) and from Compare the Man and Van. My original booking, made weeks in advance, was reassigned to Vytautus after the first 2 drivers cancelled after confirming, one of them 40mins before the move was due to happen. It was rebooked for 2 hours later with Vytautus's company for 11am, which came and went with no comms, it turned out when I chased up that the original drivers had been reallocated to another job and a backup was sick, and after waiting, we agreed to do the move the following day at 8am instead. When the drivers came they sent a video of the number of stairs to Vytautus who called me saying there would be an extra £75 charge - I lived on the 3rd floor so had booked for 3 flights, but there is a small landing at the top of each flight and a set of a few more steps up to the next floor, so apparently that is counted as 6 flights by Compare the Man and Van - not at all obvious at time of booking! The main reason for only giving the 1 star is that when I heard this, I told Vytautus that I wasn't happy and would contact Compare the Man and Van to check their policy. I was moving on my own and realised I hadn't seen the drivers for a good 5-10mins, went down and found them standing by the van - they had been told to stop work until the issue was resolved, but no one had told me that. Compare the Man and Van confirmed the extra stairs counted as an extra flight and that was their policy, so I paid it and took it up with them, as it was not clear from their website. Telling the drivers to stop work, and not telling me, when they are paid by the hour, was a bullying and underhand tactic, and for someone moving on their own, quite intimidating and unpleasant. The drivers themselves were good, one piece of Ikea furniture was broken and they didn't tell me, but on the whole they were respectful with my items. Compare the Man and Van did have very good customer service in responding quickly to these issues as they were coming up, and I received a partial refund from them, but it was still a really stressful and unpleasant experience, and I still don't know why I ended up with a driver cancelling 40mins before the original booking time and why the job was reallocated twice. I would also caution people to check the terms of what they are booking very carefully. I was also told that the job I'd booked was a single trip, and if we needed to return for a second, there would be an extra charge - this is a Compare the Man and Van policy - despite my move only being 5mins drive down the road. That also wasn't clear at the time of booking. I would recommend people contact their chosen company in advance of the move and clarify they can do it and any potential extra charges before booking.

My driver was very efficient and helpful, loading most of my items for me. The company changed my driver at the last minute but his replacement was on time and very good
I had two drivers help me and both was amazing. Couldn't rate them enough. Inwpjld use again but get my measurements correct next time. Company was great at fixing my mistake fast.

Our move was sub-contracted to a man called Alan who was amazing, so helpful and friendly, he arrived at the first location early raring to go. We wasn't told of the driver change ahead of time, we were expecting vytautus. Just to be clear this rating has nothing to do with vytautus, it's all down to Alan who I'd give 6 stars if I could
Vytautas Bimba provided a very good service today. My original driver cancelled last minute and was quite rude but I’m glad as Vytautas ended up doing my job and was beyond helpful and respectful. He got the job done efficiently and was very friendly, highly recommended.
The Job was sold on. Or once but twice. The poor men that came were only getting half of what I paid. They had been ripped off by the person who took the original booking by not passing on all of the info. Their boss then tried to get an extra £100 out of me and threatened me with the van not being unloaded. In the end the driver of the van saw how much I had originally paid and what I had booked and unloaded it for me. I hope he doesn’t get into trouble with his boss. The system shouldn’t allow this to happen. I have left 1 star only not because of the drivers who came, but because of the hassle I got afterwards and being threatened, pay up or you don’t get your goods!

I am happy with the move, overall everything got to from one place to another in the same condition and the driver was very polite. We were exhausted and he even went to get me a cool drink from the corner store. Very kind. The driver was with an office, who called me 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after the move had finished. Again overall happy with the move

He was super on time and helped us throughout the whole move. We didn't need any straps as the van was so full that nothing could move.
Some scratch on just one rack, but I really don't care much about it! Kudos!
