AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I did see some negative reviews for Radu Toma however I gave them the benefit of the doubt… I shouldn’t have.
10 minutes before they were due to arrive, I get a message to say the original guys could not fulfil the delivery so were sending another company.
This other company phoned me to ask what items I had to take in the van and told me it wouldn’t fit in the medium van I ordered. They told me the measurements of a medium van from the website (aka the size of van I paid for) was actually a large van so I would need to pay £70 more.
They turned up 4.5 hours late, didn’t protect my items so many of them are now scratched, and they didn’t carry some of the larger items up the stairs as promised once they arrived at the destination.
This made the move incredibly stressful, and I feel scammed out of my money.





Not being on time was not the drivers fault it was due to change in drivers. Really friendly and faster than expected for moving










My driver was changed at very short notice but despite this the move went well. Ali kept me updated on the arrival time, which had to change due to the change of driver. The two guys helping were very good and the move went super quick and smooth.





Brilliant mover, so friendly and made the horrible task of moving almost fun!

If I could rate our move starless I would have done it already. The only reason why I rated this with a single star it's just because Andre (assistant mover) was so nice and i would spare him from all this rant. My family and I, moved last (25/09/2020) in our new place. I booked for movers to accomodate us on(26/09/2020) for us to be
assisted moving our furniture from the previous place. 07:55 moving day I've received an email saying that My Man and Van
is scheduled to arrive in one hour and that they hope we have a great move. My husband woke up 06:30am, went
straight to our previous place to bring all of the stuff and furniture at our parking space so it'll be easy for the movers to
move everything in the rented van. When I received the message that the movers are arriving in an hour time I
immediately called my husband to inform him about it. 09:00 i received a call from "Compare The Man and Van"
company saying that the driver cancelled my booking! Just imagine my dismay and disbelief! I was talking to the lady
personnel who called me asking How was that possible? Isn't it that if there's any changes or cancellation or any
problems I would've been informed the day before the booked schedule or even hours prior so it could've been sorted
immediately to meet the target booked sched. The reason why we booked 09:00 it's for us to have an ample time to
clean the previous house and i've got a booked work from 1200noon onwards. But since the original booking was
cancelled everything followed I also had to cancel my work. I was so disappointed. I was asking the lady personnel what
happened and why such a very late notice, she just told me she doesn't know as well why the driver cancelled, and that
she's goin to make a call of whoever driver would be available. After couple of mins.she called again saying somebody will come round about 1030-1045 and that i'll have 15%discount because of what happened. Drivers came on time my husband said but when they came round here in our new place,movers were not wearing face mask or any PPE..like nothing...and the driver keeps on verbally blocking us whenever we're helping out,to a point i was even quoted "a baby". The driver was asking for a cash transaction,i said i dont have cash because of all covid precaution he was annoyed asking me why and i sain im a nurse and im just being safe,he looked at me dismayed and annoyed saying "what coronavirus what coronavirus"... i was so pissed off! He's in my property and he's got the audacity to belittle me and how i do precautions,,i respect it if he doesnt believe in the virus its on him but treating me like that in my own home is just unacceptable. He even had the guts to ask for a tip! And was so disappointed when i didnt give any.... we dont deserve that treatment to be fair. We rented movers to help us out but everything was just so unacceptable...





It was 4 times to change driver just the day before/on moving. 2.5 hours late. Driver is nice and helpful.










Moved home recently, guys were great , polite, got on with the job, no fuss, were quick and efficient. Had the courtesy to remove shoes entering the property etc.
