Turned up 2 hours late paid for man power with an extra man as ive had brain surgery and unable to do much lifting. Turned up with his 15 year old daughter and no one else. 2 hour late no man power was bad enough but got to the new house and ripped my vinyl which was brand new chipped my fridge and sent me to hospital due to all the lifting i had to do.....never again

Driver's response:

Hi in regards to the move yesterday i my other porter had dropped out and was unable to get someone else.
My daughter is 16 turns 17 on the 12th of the july this month,
She is unable to lift heavy work but most of the work was done by trolley.
At the pick up address I had explainedto them my situation and offered them £60 instead of £80

Because of the porter problem he only lifted a few heavy items and wasn't made to move anything I even told his pregnant misses not to lift anything because she was pregnant.

The reason I was late was due to traffic I had called him before hand to let him no
His response was it's doing him a favour gives him a chance to get things done.

At the drop off address there were more helpers so he never helped move any heavy items.
As I was working with his family I asked to watch the lino incase it ripped.
The hallway was tight and struggled to get the trolley through the door so had to move trolley out of the road as we had to move fridge freezer through door it made a small nip on the lino wasn't even noticeable as of the fridge freezer I there was no sign of damage and no one mentioned it when I was there.

I knew there were problems so I sent an appolagie via text and copy and pasted it to this email.


Thank you for the chance to work with you. all I can do is appolagies for not having a second man. but in the future I would look more into the job so we don't have the same mistake again.

GM was awesome - very friendly, very safe driver, went the extra mile to sort out a replacement van when his regular van was in the shop.

Very helpful and kind

Disappointed in the system bcos I am sure the price I went for was the driver helping with and an other helper so I don�t understand what happened and I did helping the driver he was very nice helpful but as I said in the system during booking changed plus the people who answer the phone more than once hanging up on me very poor customer service

We can confirm that as you booked online, you yourself would have needed to select the level of service you needed and you booked for 'no help required'.
We have checked our phone records and although it is always possible that a mobile phone can cut out during a call, we can confirm that our system shows no evidence that a call was terminated by a member of staff.
