My driver arrived 3 hours after my original time slot but my new driver was fantastic,polite and accomodating. Toby was a life saver and would recommend to anyone. Despite all the difficulties encountered, both of them were super nice throughout. A pleasure and have recommended them already to a friend and will do again.	8 years ago

Driver was not on time Didn't have straps and blankets Driver was respectful For some reason the house number wasn't relayed to the driver so he couldn't find the house properly. This meant he was about 45 minutes late arriving. However, he worked flat out to load the van and a friend of his pitched up to help out at no extra charge. Due to their hard the van was loaded very quickly indeed. At tAt other end we experienced a similar level of hard work our belongings were unloaded very quickly. At all times our things were treated with care and nothing was damaged at all. Raphael was our driver / loader and I was very impressed at work ethic. He was courteous and pleasant to chachat for the two hour road journey too. It is worth noting that our job was sub-contracted and as this driver didn't work directly for the company we originally booked. Despite this we have no real complaints other than the initial late arrival (the fault of the website I assume).	8 years ago

Driver was not on time Had straps and blankets Driver was respectful The driver was just fine and courteous but the person organising the driver (Tony) was not very good as he didn't pass on to the driver that we needed an extra person and didn't tell the driver there were 2 stops to be made. He proposed a discount but this has never materialised. Generally the service was sub optimal (except for the driver himself who was good).	9 years ago

It would be good if the van had trolley, blankets etc., especially when the driver is helping us loading and unloading. The driver reached half hour earlier at 9:00am at the venue which is great. But he could not reach me till 9:30am as I was on the train. But the driver's boss called me to say he would charge me from 9am since the driver was there and could not reach me. Illogical, as I asked for the driver at 9:30am since I was not planning to be there earlier!! Obviously comparethemanandvan customer service sorted that out and let the boss know that I would only be charged from 9:30am.	9 years ago

Lots of heavy lifting and an issue with the bed & not the right tools on my part but it was no problem as the guys sorted it out for me, very helpful indeed & friendly! The only niggle I had, because I used to work in removals, was that he had no straps and blankets. However he did know how to pack it in such a way which meant my stuff was safe over the short journey. Nice guy, and efficient.	9 years ago

However, once we had taken our items to the storage facility, even though it had only taken less than 2 hours, we were told that a return trip wasn't possible due to mileage restrictions. This was disappointing and we had to take public transport to get home. I don't blame the driver for this as I think the mileage rules are company policy,	9 years ago

He even helped us rope up a chair through the window when we realized it wouldn't fit through the hallway of our new flat! All in all a great guy providing amazing service!
