Which ended up in him having to do 2 trips to and from my storage unit. I was given a price of £154, but it ended up costing me over £230. I’m not happy with that at all. I’ve been ripped off. The driver and his friend were very nice but apart from that I’m not satisfied with the booking what so ever. I would like to make a formal complaint. Can someone contact me	4 years ago

Driver was not on time Had straps and blankets Driver was not respectful I don't know if there were straps, but I saw blankets. Driver was not respectful to me, but was ok with my items. He was late and rude to me. However, he moved my items well. NEVER using him again Driver's response: Hello Thanks for contacting me regarding the review. I was 50mins late due to traffic in the Black Wall Tunnel and both the office and Matty were notified. I arrived at Matty's at 9.50am with my 2nd man and assured her the job will be done swiftly at no extra charge. It took me and my 2nd man approximately 3 hrs to finish the job, leaving her and her partner to look after their baby. I told her partner the job had ran into overtime which he agreed to and told Matty, and then she disagreed, bringing out her phone to calculate the later. I told her the time is right and if only she would take into consideration that my 2nd man worked throughout at no cost then her charges would have been considerably more. I was at no stage being rude as I only stood my ground and she also mentioned being appreciative of my effort. All her items were also safely delivered. Driver was not on time Had straps and blankets Driver was not respectful Driver called to say he would be 20 mins but 50 minutes later still hadn’t turened up. When calling him he informed me he had to make a stop to Macdonalds. When he finally arrived seemed reluctant to actually help us with helping load and unload although we had everything down to the main reception of the block ready to be loaded as original driver did not turn up. I did have to even ask if he could help us unload the van as he was constantly on his phone. Not helpful and although I booked for 3 hours we had finished within an hour and a half as myself, partner and a friend did 90% of loading and unloading. So as I’m sure you can imagine I am very dissatisfied with the lack of service received. Driver's response: I’m sorry if you felt this way but your complaint about my lack of service isn’t true. I helped load the van and also helped offloading. Even though there was 1 flight of stairs booked in the delivery address, it was actually 3 flights and I helped carry the heaviest items up the stairs with no extra charge. If you had wanted me to stay for the rest of your time, I would have obliged. Even when you said can you help offload, my reply to you was that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m only paid to help, not to do the complete job. If I can actually remember, it was you who delayed and interrupted the job with ideas not suitable so I had to take a step back to let you suit yourself. Bear in mind I was also told at the beginning of the job that you are a hindrance and not helpful by your caretaker. Thank you	5 years ago

CMV response: Due to the driver's 2nd man falling ill on the day of your booking, we arranged an alternative service provider to attend, of equivalent insurance level, so you were not let down for your move.	5 years ago
