Driver was not on time Didn't have straps and blankets Driver was not respectful The driver asked for £100 on arrival, using the excuse that he brought a big van, I was desperate and wanted to pay, he then said the part payment I made online was for the company and that he didn’t have anything to do with it, he asked for extra £20 to come upstairs and help pick the mattress, we told him we would bring it down ourselves. By the time we brought the mattress down he had just driven off without a word. Called him several times with no response. I had to book another company to move my items. There was no number to contact customer service whatsoever. I need my part payment back!!!

Quick to charge us more for an extra flight of stairs at the point of departure but then just a quick just to dump things on the ground floor at the new house. Also we booked him for 8 hours and after 3 he couldn't wait to leave. Didn't listen. Mixed experience.

Driver was on time Had straps and blankets Driver was respectful Moving house is always an incredibly daunting task - However, this company, specifically Lawrence, made the experience almost seem effortless - He was early, organised, efficient, fast (yet careful), and very polite - I had assumed it would take over an hour to load the van...and yet we were done within about 45 minutes - He delivered the items to their destination and was just as polite and caring - HIGHLY recommended! :)

Overall, I couldn’t be happier with the service, as I got the van removal booked as an a emergency an hour before it was needed! Fantastic service, quick response and a very good experience with the van driver!

Driver was booked for 3 hours but the job took 1hr 15 mins. Partly so quick as they had driven off when when I opened the storage room and left me to load the storage facility alone. Not pleased at being left without as much as a ‘goodbye, sorry we can’t help you even though you paid for it.’ Unsatisfactory timing, lack of assistance and poor value for money as a result.

Even after a 6+ hour drive, arriving at our destination at 1am, he knew which items were fragile, where items were located in the van and what remained to be carried. He took the lead on carrying most of our goods (into and from the van) and was attentive to our requests. He obviously works extremely hard - it was difficult to reach prior to the move, but once he was focussed on our move, he drove ahead and kept in touch. He arrived more than 1.5 hours late due to London traffic conditions, but he notified me ahead of time. Frankly, with a 6+ hour drive, our goods were primary priority and I'd rather have someone I feel I can trust with our belongings, which with Daniel, we did. Great job, highly recommended.

There were late but this was down to Compare the Man & Van switching drivers 5 times (3 times in the last 24 hours which caused us so much stress!!!) so I don’t think they had much notice of the job but not their fault!!! Wouldn’t rate Compare the Man & Van at all but this isn’t the drivers’ fault they were brilliant!! Thank you.

They were here at 1h50pm. I've been warned about it so I didn't mind (and the guy I had on the phone was very nice!). The guys were super efficient and nice. They arrived on time, both wore masks and didn't once complain. They loaded the boxes quickly and efficiently, and unloading them perfectly at the other end, into our storage unit. I was warned that I may need to upgrade at a stage in the move when I was able to make a decision about how much we took, but in the end the driver decided very fairly that it fit within the original agreed size. I couldn't have asked for a better, smoother move, thank you.

We know this was not our drivers fault, but even after I sent an email saying I think we needed a bigger van, we actually were sent a smaller one. Now we have to make another 12 hour round trip to collect the remainder of our furniture and our poor driver must be utterly exhausted, as we were trying to cram everything in! I cannot give our driver a bad review, he was first rate. Your customer service leaves a lot to be desired. | 1 year ago |

The price was very good. He is an excellent driver, we arrived together very fast at the location. He was very friendly and arranged and strapped all my belonging very neatly. I travelled on the van and the trip went very smoothly - I moved several fragile items and nothing was damaged in the slightest! The driver helped loading and unloading and was cheerful, quick, and extremely careful with all my belonging. I would recommend this service to anyone moving across the country.
