Cosmin rejected on a saturday

The driver I had originally booked got changed due to a scheduling conflict. I was notified 2.5 hours before they were due to arrive about this conflict and that a replacement had been arranged. I had booked this 2-3 weeks in advance so was quite surprised that there was a 'schedule conflict' when the original driver had been available at the time of booking. I also would have liked to have been notified earlier about this change.

Saying this, the replacement driver was excellent - he was on time, very pleasant and helpful. However, he didn't have any blankets, straps or trolley that I had made sure my original booking had. Nothing got broken or ruined but I feel it wasn't a completely like for like replacement.

CMV Response: We are sorry that the original driver was unable to attend your booking. The 'scheduling conflict' is a general term assigned by the system when a driver is unable to attend a booking. In this instance the original driver reported as being ill on the day. There was therefore no opportunity to notify you of this earlier, as we were simply not aware of it ourselves. However, unlike other websites, we do not simply refund you and cancel your booking when this happens, but will always send an alternative service so you are not let down for your move.
