He was so helpful and there's no way we could have done it without him, especially as my partner has an injured knee from a disclocation last year. He was friendly and chatty on the journey down and did a great job of getting the van down our new narrow street so we could unload directly into the front door. We haven't fully unpacked, but (touch wood) so far, we've not discovered anything broken. We would recommend him to anyone.

I was moving a tonne of stuff from London to Oxford, which included a seriously heavy double-sized American fridge freezer - Ed proved to be a very smart and careful handyman and was able to remove door handles and disconnect various electrical connectors so it could fit through the door. Just as important was the unloading of furniture and other items at the other end - Ed was careful and thoughtful about the items he was handling.. A fun person too!

Nothing seemed to phase them, the legs needed to come off my sofa to get it out and they had some tools with them just in case.

For an early morning pick up he arrived extra early to avoid traffic which could have caused him to be late. He also went out of his way entirely to fulfil a last minute request of mine concerning a payment which was incredibly kind of him. He knew exactly what he was doing - very swift. I must add, he was able to arrange large sculptural wood pieces very neatly and efficiently in both his van and at the destination, and also highly capable of carrying heavy objects.

Despite slightly cheaper alternatives, I went for Ed based on his high reviews - I was not disappointed. On time, polite, respectful, and, in a complimentary way, a genuine human being!

It was a mishap that at the end was disagreement about the amount of job is done. However money is not my concern and would have ignored it, what was not expected that driver mentioned that he did not recognise the MAN AND VAN as authority and would not follow their advice. To me I would have never offered the job to a person with a van as an individual company in the first instance. I trusted a recognised company which indeed had said they routinely monitor the services their clients provide.
I believe people should be given a second chance and decided not to pursue official complaint and referral to higher authorities regulating the people both as companies and also individuals, just at this point give a generous 4 star. It was not acceptable that a driver thinks its OK to shout at the customer or threatens to destroy/dismantle a fixed item. It is essential for a driver to be aware of the potential legal enforceable consequences. As that would have been counted as serious crime with serious police / authorities reputation records for a person as business and individual. | 4th April |

Two men came on time and was very efficient and handy when it came to dismantling furniture that was too big. I would certainly recommend them to ones who need help! One tip, if you rather not worry the night before just get a larger van than you think you need, and perhaps half an hour more or even an additional helper.
