I chose to hire some help to try and make my move less stressful however this was not the case. Whilst the couple were on time, I found them very impatient and needed a lot of prompting. I moved most of the items with my friends help down the stairs (including a sofa they didn't feel would fit down the stairs despite it having fit up the stairs) in the same time it took them to move items to the van. The van was not as big as expected resulting in an additional conveyance at an additional cost despite it being within the time frame I initially booked for, which was not made clear on the site. Overall I felt they had a very unhelpful attitude to moving my items and were not logistically proactive with moving and transporting my items.

With regards to my recent review of the move, I would like to amend that the van did come with blankets which they used to cover my mirror. Apologies for any confusion, as it was just the one item, i'd overlooked this fact.

DRIVER'S RESPONSE 21-03-2019:
"I am Eugen Bojan, the driver who attended this booking on Monday, 18.03.2019, 15 minutes before 11.00, so I was on time and early. The customer showed me where to park my van, 420 meters from her flat. Firstly my helper and I walked to Catherine's flat, when we arrived we could see all of the items in all of the rooms including a huge wardrobe, a long sofa, a large wooden table and much more. On Catherine's booking it states that all items will be dismantled prior to moving, so before beginning the job I called Catherine and she advice me over the phone that all the items are dismantled because the space is very tight but in reality nothing was dismantled.

I advised Catherine it would be better to dismantle the big items so we do not damage the walls, Catherine said no. She wanted the items left as they were.

Catherine was with two friends and they carried boxes from upstairs to downstairs. I did advise them that there was no need but they insisted on helping.

Catherine didn't declare all of the items when she made the quotation. The quotation provided was for a large van with a description of items that would easily fit inside the large van. On arrival there was much more. Catherine was very agitated in conversation and she said she wanted the giant luton van. I explain to her, according with her quotation, she selected a large van and she didn't declare all of the big items. I went on to explain the Giant van size had a different price.

I explained to Catherine that if she needs a second trip there will be an additional mileage charge to do so she became very aggressive. I just listened to her and continued to do my job.

Catherine said I didn't have blankets and straps which is untrue. The blankets were put on the wardrobe and mirrors to protect them. My van has blankets, straps, trolly and a tool box. I consider this review to be untrue. Kind regards."
