However he did keep me fully informed. One point - a man and van is not the same as an experienced furniture removal person who knows how to manipulate furniture through doors. Driver was not on time Had straps and blankets Driver was respectful This was not the original driver we had booked but due to a conflict of schedule they advised us that our new driver was this company... A bit disappointing. The driver was only 5-10 mins late but when you're on a schedule these 5-10 mins can count. He was friendly and efficient but we also helped a lot loading and unloading. He knew how to arrange everything in the van and had blankets but didn't see straps. The negative point is that in the end we had to insist and ask him to give us a hand to bring the final pieces of furniture up the 2 flights of stairs even if we paid extra for his help and the stairs (and we were still in the 2 hours limit!) and he looked a bit reluctant. (Indeed, at first, he just helped us unloading and he saw we were handling all the boxes so he made a move to go once everything was unloaded... So we had to remind him that we paid for his help and that we needed him to give us a hand with the furniture as we couldn't handle them by ourselves!)	9 years ago

You can tell his an experienced mover who knows his stuff. He helped me carry some heavy furniture around without problems, and we were able to finish the job faster than expected.
