The Van is a Ford Transit Luton as seen on the picture and we also have a large van which is a Ford Transit MWB. We carry blankets, straps, trolley and tool box to dismantle or re-assemble any furniture.

Driver was not on time Had straps and blankets Driver was not respectful So... The collection was booked for 3.30pm. The rider phoned around 2.30 to let us know he was going to be "about an hour late" so asked him to call when he was half an hour away so we could time meeting him at the pickup location. We heard nothing, but headed across for 4.30pm, and no driver was in sight. He hadn't been in touch since the initial phone call so I attempted to call him. No luck. I finally got through at ~4.45, at which point the driver apologised and claimed to be 20 minutes away. Got another call just before 5pm, the driver again, claiming to be ~20-25min away. Still. At this point we had been in touch with the central office and so I received a phone call from the central team. By 5.30pm I was on the phone with a very apologetic man, claiming the driver was ~20 min away. Still. Finally just before 6pm the driver arrived and explained that the previous job had "run over time". He was clearly stressed, and not very careful. We loaded the van, and headed to the drop off location. Once there he managed to offend our colleagues in the office, and accidentally break a set of (admittedly fragile) plastic drawers which we had specifically explained needed to be carried holding the bottom. Total time waiting: 150 min. Total time loading, driving, and unloading: 40 min. All in all not a great experience. CMV response: We are very sorry that you experienced this delay with your booking. Luckily, no furniture was scratched although some items were dirty on delivery from the van. Our washing machine was damaged, the back was pushed in causing the metal to sheer against a screw! Since reinstalling the washing machine it has been unbalanced and we are as yet unsure whether this is due to an uneven floor or the damaged that it received! The washing machine is only a couple a of months old. Also 2 lights we damaged. As they brought the fridge freezer into the new house they lifted it up and smashed the light fitting off the ceiling , they did however mend it. Also in the house that we moved from the feature light fitting in the dining room had been knocked and was left bent to one side. As I said before they were lovely and extremely hard-working especially when it came to moving our exceptionally heavy dining table, mattress and outdoor plant pots.	6 years ago

Chris and Steve worked very hard and were lovely men, however, they had no blankets. Luckily, no furniture was scratched although some items were dirty on delivery from the van.
