(Sebastian) Fast Van

Guys were great, worked really hard and very nice people. Haven’t opened everything yet so don’t know if any damages occurred but so far so good.

We have used Man & Van in the past and were very pleased with their service. Unfortunately, this time he was a different driver, we found him rude and not very helpful. We had most of the equipment already transported from the building on to the roadside, ready to be put on the van. He refused to move filing cabinets because they were full and said "I'm not very strong, am weak". When he spoke to his colleague about the filing cabinets, they did not speak in English and laughed together, this was very rude. When we previously used Man & Van, they moved the cabinets full with paperwork and did not dispute the fact that they were full. When it came to paying the balance, the driver asked for the full amount, I explained I had already paid a deposit and therefore only had to pay the balance, he argued with me that I had to pay the full amount. I showed him my paperwork that showed clearly that a deposit was already paid and received. He made a phone call, but did not speak in English, which again I found very rude. When he finished his phone call, he reluctantly said "ok" he took most of the balance £65, but refused to take the coins and rushed off quickly. He claimed "it was his day off" and seemed very disgruntled that he had to work. I felt his behaviour was very unprofessional, and feel very disappointed with his attitude. My staff and I worked very hard to help the driver and his colleague to have most of the equipment ready to be transported onto the van and then helped unloading at the other end. Also, because he rushed off, I was unable to get a receipt for the £65 which I gave him. I would be very grateful if you can provide me with a receipt for the £65 for our records and to give to our treasurer. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, Thank you.

Required two trips, but driver was happy enough to do this. Was not necessarily happy with way some bits were packed, but got the job done with an hour spare. Thank you.
