Driver was punctual and efficient though communication skills were not the greatest. He rang that morning to ask to come early, which was not entirely convenient. In the end he had to help be pack up some of the boxes etc as well. The initial distance price was calculated on the address we finally finished at, however there was a misdirection to an address where he entered the post code in google maps, without the street which I said was Duke of Wellington Avenue, this added 1.6 miles (10 minutes) onto the journey, as the post code sent us to the centre of Woolwich. Polite, friendly, helpful and hard working, and sensibly, he had a trolley to help with loading. I was rather surprised that the original driver I had booked, who was verified by Orfio (?), was replaced by one who was not verified, in spite of the company's claim that the replacement driver was equivalent. I had previously been told that this verification was similar to being CRB checked, which is desirable if you're getting into a van with a man you don't know. However, the driver who did turn up actually turned out to be fine. CMV response: If the original driver cannot attend your booking, we guarantee to send a replacement driver of equal insurance level. All drivers are vetted prior to joining us, however, the decision to become verified by Onfido is a personal choice for each driver.	6 years ago

Driver was on time Didn't have straps and blankets Driver was respectful I booked a 2 hour drive since it's the minimum but my move was actually a 5 min walk down the road so a 2 min drive. I only had a mattress to swap which I loaded myself. Asked the driver if we could go back to old house so I could do the mattress swap (this was less than 15-20 minutes later) and he said the company didn't allow a second trip if it hadn't been booked, which I can understand if it impacts on the 2 hour window. But this was an extremely fast and close move and I don't believe it would have changed anything in his journey. I know it's not his decision in the end and he did call the company to confirm. Overall I am very disappointed with the service and won't be booking again. CMV response: If you wish to make a 2nd trip within your booked hours, that is not a problem at all. The driver will charge you his 'via' stop charge for this, which in this case was £5, together with a small mileage charge for the additional mileage which is generally around £1 per mile.	6 years ago
