He arrived 20 Minutes later. He then didn't have a sat nav and we had to use the sat nav on my phone to get to the drop off location. It wasn't the service I had expected and using Addison Lee as I had originally planned to would have been cheaper and not used my data to navigate to the location. I said they didn't come on time as it took very long time to park the van (so I would assume they should come even earlier to start the moving job on time). I also felt a bit of unnecessary pressure from the questions "is this it?". The two gentlement I hired to help move my stuff was nice at first but then they asked for extra £30 due ti having to climb a zig zag stairs. My flat was on 2 floor and I have contacted Compare the Man and Van prior to making the booking to clarify if I live in second floor with four sets of stairs but the stairs are zig zag shapes which means only two sets of stairs were ling and the other two were only a few steps, how many flights of stairs should I booked? The customer service told me these zig zag stairs will be counted as 2 flights and that was what I booked by the drivers wanted me to pay extra in cash. I said i would pay but only with confirmation from compare man and van but he did not want to go through them as he did not want to pay their admin fee. The whole moving took 1hr 15 mins but the arguing was an additional 20 mins.	6 years ago

I had to move booked time twice as I had some delay returning from work: they didn't have any issue to move and we finally did it the next day morning (which was Saturday). Just after the guys took the stuf fit has occurred that I made several mistakes in my booking: I booked a small van for quite a lot of stuff - luckily they had medium one because they were going for some other work after. Bigger surprise was when it has occurred that I booked 'no stairs' while the destination apartment is on the third floor - but with 7 stair flights... the guys were great, allowed to just pay additionally for time and the stairs and even charged less per one stairs flight. All that being super nice and not even a little annoyed. Thank you so much! I highly recommend and would for sure book the guys again.	6 years ago
